I am always excited for my Stitch Fix and this month’s was no exception. I have it set up on monthly deliveries because it’s difficult to get it on demand these days!
If you aren’t familiar, Stitch Fix is a personal styling service for women. You provide your style, size, and budget preferences, and they will send you a package of stylish goodies to try on at home. There is a $20 styling fee that is applied to your order should you decide to keep any / all of the pieces. If you don’t keep anything, you don’t receive a refund of the fee. And if you keep all of the pieces, you get a 25% discount on everything! Also, I should mention that you are only charged once you “check out” at Stitch Fix. You have a few days to try everything on and the box comes with a bag and a prepaid return label so you can easily ship back the pieces you aren’t interested in.
Stitch Fix ships via FedEx and took just shy of a week to arrive to me. It ships from San Francisco so that’s not too bad.
Stitch Fix comes wrapped all up in tissue paper like they do if you purchase something from a fancy store. I peeked at my account to see what was coming, but it didn’t really give me too much to go on since they only have descriptions and not pictures.
I have to say, Stitch Fix really forces me to branch out with my prints! I tend to grab solid color clothing when shopping, but Stitch Fix sends lots of prints and bright colors which is good because I need to branch out!
Stitch Fix comes with an information card which includes a listing of everything in the box, prices, and then a total of how much everything would be if you kept everything in the box (it deducts your $20 styling fee and the 25% discount for keeping all of your items). Just to give you an idea, my box had a merchandise total of $286 and had I kept everything, I would have had to pay $219.50 (plus my $20 styling fee). In comparison, my Fix from last month would have been $228 to keep everything.
Here is what my fix this month included:
~Margaret Elizabeth Ellie Round Stone Bangle ($88): I think this is gorgeous and I am pretty sure I am going to keep this. I love the bangle, the stones, everything. So pretty. Keep or Return: Keep.
~Sweet Rain Dennison Printed Short Sleeve Top ($48): Meh. I don’t love this. I don’t mind the print, but I am not a fan of the cut of it. I also don’t love that the sleeves are a different fabric than the shirt itself. Verdict: Returned.
~Caramela Benfield Heather Drape Front Cardigan ($58): I am a huge fan of this style and cardigans in general, so this is totally perfect for me. It’s still freezing cold here, so it’s perfectly seasonal right now as well.
~Kut From The Kloth Warby Colorblock Striped Raglan Knit Shirt ($58): I love the colors and fabric for this one, but I am not sure about the fit. Maybe once I start eating clean again (this will happen one day – eventually) it will look okay enough to wear. But now I am not so sure? Verdict: Undecided.
~Collective Concepts Fullerton Plaid Print Short Sleeve Blouse ($34): Totally not a fan of this. At all. I don’t like that the sleeves are solid and I don’t like the plaid print on this one. Verdict: Returned.
Just like last month, I’m keeping two items (maybe three) from this Fix which makes it a win for me! I never got around to updating my Pinterest board after last month, but I am going to work on it this month so we’ll see how that helps out with my next fix. I also try to give pretty detailed feedback on my fixes, so I hope that helps out as well!
