Toothbrush Subscriptions
Cost: $4-$5/month
Ships To: United States and Canada
Toothbrush Subscriptions, who kindly sent me this package to review, is exactly what you think it is. It’s a monthly subscription service that sends you new toothbrushes every 1,2 or 3 months. Toothbrushes start at $4 and shipping is always free.
Toothbrush Subscriptions ships from Canada and takes anywhere between 3-8 business days to arrive. Subscribers are able to select their toothbrush style (there are seven different options) and color preferences, so there is no need to include an information card in the package. I received an assortment of toothbrushes as follows:
~Economy Toothbrush ($4): This one isn’t fancy, but it gets the job done. It comes in five colors and I am going to replace whatever B has in his travel bag with this. I am guessing it doesn’t get replaced a ton and I never even think about it, so this was a great reminder (which is exactly what it’s suppose to be).
~American Dental Association Approved Advantage Toothbrush ($5): This is one of only 30 toothbrushes approved by the American Dental Association. I was JUST thinking I needed to replace my toothbrush and then this showed up in the mail. The timing could not have been more perfect.
~The Baby Toothbrush ($4): I think L would freak out if I gave him a pink toothbrush, so this is going to be for WB. L probably really wants a pink toothbrush but seems to think it’s just “for girls” which is so not true. I am working on assuring him that this is NOT the case, but I don’t think he buys what I’m selling! This is meant for kids ages 2-5 and its custom built grip helps your child build proper brushing principles early. And since WB insists on brushing his own teeth (it’s a battle to get it from him), this will be great for him.
~Dental Floss ($3/each): I am awful about flossing, but I am really liking their idea of committing to flossing one tooth at a time after brushing. I am usually half asleep when I even consider flossing, but I think I could handle that.
What do you think of Toothbrush Subscriptions? I wouldn’t really consider them to be “value” subscription because of course you could run to the drugstore and grab a toothbrush every month for a few dollars or whatever. But are you? Do you remember to change them as often as you should? I know I don’t! That might make a good survey question – how often do you change your toothbrush?
