I had a great mail weekend and one of the packages I received was my March 2014 Wantable Makeup box!
If you aren’t familiar, Wantable offers 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates and jewelry boxes, again customized to your preferences. And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. You just go into your account, go to your order history and click “Return Items” and you’ll get a prepaid label and a full refund.
Wantable ships via USPS First Class Mail and since they are in Wisconsin and I am in Michigan, my boxes always arrive very quickly. I was also excited by the new Wantable boxes which I think are adorable.
Right away I was excited to see that nail polish in the box! I also saw a few brands in there I wasn’t familiar with, so I was anxious to check out more about them.
Like I mentioned before, you can total customize your Wantable box. You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike. You’ll get more of the things you love and none of the things you Dislike. It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. I really need to change my preferences around and move lip color and complexion products to Like. Hopefully I will remember to get that fixed before next month.
The March Wantable Makeup Box is jumping headfirst into Spring this month with bold colors that are perfect for both sunny beach getaways and dreary days of gray skies and rain. We are getting a little bit of both around here lately, but hopefully it will be more warm sunshine than cold soon! Here is what I received in my box:
~Liberty Republic Spellbound Nail Lacquer (Enchanted) ($14): Liberty Republic polishes are exclusive to Wantable right now and I LOVE the color I received. I am in desperate need of some new polish on my toes and this is looking like the perfect color.
~Golden Rose Infinity Lash Volume & Length Mascara ($12.99): I SO badly want to open this and test it, but I have like ten mascaras currently open that I will never be able to use before they dry out. This is designed to achieve infinite volume and curl while lengthening lashes, which is exactly what I look for.
~Sorme Believeable Bronzer Goddess ($21.99): I love bronzer and while I don’t know if this will become a new favorite, it’s for sure going to get used up. The color is more brown than my photo shows and it’s a perfect selection for my skin tone.
~youMinerals Rouge (Happy Rose) ($24): I received a different shade of this back in December, but it wasn’t nearly as bright as this one. I wouldn’t pick this color on my own but it might be fun for summer??
All totaled I came up with a value of $72.98 for my March 2014 Wantable Box. I didn’t love it as much as I loved last month’s box (which was so perfect for me), but I am happy. And, like I said, I am going to work on switching my profile around a little to see what kind of changes that brings for my box next month. Wantable boxes start at $36/month, so obviously the value is there too.
Do you subscribe to Wantable? If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month? If you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for? Click here to subscribe or learn more.
I was just thinking you could use some more nail polish.
Exactly.
Wonder about the mascara, how good it is. You have to let us know! Probably mascara is one of the most important make up in my life and I haven’t found the perfect one yet!
I will!!! Maybe I will just open it. I doubt I will ever use up all these anyway?.
Hi. Our box this month would retail for $69. The DEX NY ($22) lipstick in Shell is a must keep. The shade is on trend in nude with a subtle pink and bronze shimmer. It’s firm yet creamy and long lasting. The case is reflective so you can use it as a mirror!! Next, there’s more cool packaging with the velvet flecked GOLDEN ROSE ($13) Sexy Black mascara. it goes on cleanly without clumps. There’s a little fallout, so we recommend your curl your lashes first and/or use lash primer. It has a bulb shaped rubber brush; not for everyone. Then, there’s the STARLOOKS ($14) Eye Pencil in Topaz. We already have this from another brand’s box, so we know it’s creamy with glitter flecks in a must-have shade. Finally, there’s the Prime Brush by MICHAEL MARCUS ($20). At 1/2″ wide, it’s a little smaller than our usual foundation brush but works well with concealer. We tried it with primer and it did not shed. It applied the product evenly and cleaned up nicely.
Sorry about the typo: “your” should be “you” in “you(r) curl your lashes”…thanks!
No worries!
That sounds like a great box! Thanks for sharing!
