You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight.
~Sunday night already! I feel like we lost an hour in there somewhere? LOL!! Somehow even having lost an hour I was super productive today. B took the boys out to breakfast, which left me with a quiet house and then brought me home Starbucks, so the day got off to a good start! Laundry is finished, a have a few posts for the week scheduled, L’s homework was done early and B got to go to Autorama which he had been wanting to check out. It was just a nice day.
~Guess what I found?? Cupcake flavored ChapStick! Just like everyone said, it was right there at the register at Walgreens. No sign of the Red Velvet, but I will keep my eyes open for that one. And, yes, I love it. I don’t know that it works any different than any other ChapStick, but it smells amazing. And all these other lip balms happened while I was in there too. How could I resist a Walgreens Watermelon flavored EOS type balm? I couldn’t. And I have been wanting to try the mixstix, so clearly I had to get those too.
~I am not too sure what subscription boxes I am expecting this week (I’m look into that for tomorrow), but I have ordered some new ones lately, including Orange Glad and New Beauty Test Tube. And I am still wanting to try one or two more. Hazel Lane or Hammock Pack I think! I didn’t do a post on New Subscription Boxes this week because I only know of one or two new ones so I’ll save that for next week.
~Has anyone tried the RoC Skin Care Line? I have been hearing some great things about it – mainly the Resurfacing Cleanser and Serum, so I decided to give it a try. I am awful about doing the formal “I’m Totally Trying It” updates, but I will try and remember to report back on this!
~We are considering swapping out our Spring Disney trip for a summer one so that we don’t have to drive there. I am going to check on summer airfares and make a decision. That will then leave us with nothing to do for Spring Break, so I will need a new plan for that. LOL.
~So I was doing a little research and discovered that Allure didn’t do a Spring Beauty Box last year. They did a Summer one which went on sale at the end of April and then a Fall one and then a Winter one. Not saying that it won’t change for this year, but I thought that was interesting!
~Oh, I mentioned it on Instagram, but we tried the Betty Crocker Watermelon Cupcakes from Target. The kids approved and I thought they were okay, but they weren’t my favorite. They are for sure better than the key lime and orange sherbet ones they have out.
