April 2014 Barkbox
April 2014 Barkbox

Today was an amazing mail day (it’s been an amazing mail week actually) and one of the boxes we received today was our April 2014 BarkBox!

If you aren’t familiar, BarkBox is a monthly subscription box for dogs! Each monthly box contains a combination of 4-6 treats, toys, and hygiene products that have been hand selected and approved by Scout, head product tester for BarkBox. We’ve been getting for nearly two years and are quite happy with it.

The Box

BarkBox ships via DHL Global Mail and took around six days to arrive this month. Not a long time, but not super fast either. About normal.

First Look

Ohh, the first look was great!  The box was packed full and everything looked fun and the colors were great!

The Information Card

The April 2014 BarkBox was all about getting outside!  The box included the following items to help your dog get off the couch and enjoy Spring:

~Quaker Pet Group Elephant ($10.99): Love this!  It’s good for playing tug of war with the dogs and it’s super super cute.  I think this will be a new favorite.  WB saw it and liked it, so basically if WB likes it, the dogs like it.

~Complete Natural Nutrition Off-Leash Treats ($5.99):  Baxter and Buddy said these were delicious.  Well, maybe they didn’t say it, but I could tell. They had a busy afternoon of playing outside and loving snacking on these when they came in.

Complete Natural Nutrition Off-Leash Treats

~Etta Says Duck Meat Treats ($9.49): These have always been a hit around here as well!  They are made from USA sourced ducks and are perfect for pups with grain or protein allergies.

~Mr. Barksmith’s Carrot Cake Smoothie ($1.49): Love these!  I am saving this for a hot summer day for the curries.  They love these and their tails go CRAZY when they see them!

Mr. Barksmith’s Carrot Cake Smoothie

~Barkworthies Junior Bully Stick ($2.50): And, as usual, a Barkworthies!  We get one every month and the dogs love them, but well, we get one every month.  Then again, they do love them.

Barkworthies

All totaled I came up with a value of $30.46 for April 2014 BarkBox.  I wouldn’t say it was our favorite month ever, but it’s all going to get used and not one thing will go to waste which is important!!

A monthly subscription is $29/month, but if you opt for a longer subscription, the price drops as low as $18/month (that’s what I get)!  And you can use the code “RAMBLING” save 15% off ANY subscription plan which would make it an even better deal!
