The 10th of the month is one of my favorite days of the month because both Birchbox and ipsy are revealed! Here is what I am getting this month:
~Birchbox: If you want to know what you are getting, log into your account and click “Box” and then “Women’s Box”. You’ll be able to see the contents of your April 2014 Box right there! IF you want to know what number box you are getting, scroll down to “Box History” and then click “April 2014”. In the URL bar you will “april-2014-bb” and then a number following the “bb”. That is the number box you received this month! If you want to see all the variations this month, click here and change the number at the end to anywhere between 2 and 48 since it looks like there were 48 variations this month. My April Birchbox is box #41 which contains the following:
I ‘ll do a recap when it arrives, but so far I am LOVING it! If you don’t yet subscribe to Birchbox, now is the time! ~ipsy: If you are wondering what’s coming in your April 2014 ipsy My Glam bag, head to your account and click “My Glam Room” in the top right of the homepage (once you login). It will show you your April 2014 bag and in the drop down menu you can see all your previous months. If you want to see all the items ipsy sent out this month, you’ll see a link at the bottom of your Glam Room which will expand page to show them all to you. We have twin bags on ipsy… I’m shocked that I’m not getting lashes… again!!! But so delightfully happy about that… not a fan of the bag but I’m sure some teen at the woman’s shelter will love it full of stuff at Christmas time…

I am shocked I didn’t get the lashes. I would have liked the Rainbow Honey and / or the Benefit, but I am not complaining about my bag!

I actually got my box yesterday before the preview! That has only happened once before and it make me pretty happy. I got that snack bar too and the nail polish, some eyeliner, hair de-tangler and super goop CC cream

I got the same box and got it yesterday as well! I never got my box before spoilers before! I’m not a fan of the nail polish and I already tried the pencil and supergoop cc cream before, but at least I got a different color in the pencil this time. I would have preferred the Daivines shampoo/conditioner, coffee scrub or body, but I will use most of it. I really didn’t need any more eyeliner though and I’m getting it in Ipsy and Popsugar too! AH! I’m going to have eyeliners coming out of my ears! lol
I’m getting box #15 for Birchbox. Atelier Orange Sanguine Perfume, Sumita Eyeliner, BeeKind Body Lotion, Color Club Gala’s Gems Nail Polish, & the KIND bar. I’m so excited about the lotion & nail polish, & the other 3 are still wins for me. My best friend is getting her 1st Ipsy Glam Bag this month so I’m going to see if I like hers & probably sign up for that too 🙂

I got box 38, I was hoping for the Balm blush but…. 8 items! And it looks like I can review them all for points.

I got box 29 and I definitely got a winner. Number 4? Lumiere d’hiver Reconstructing Masque, Number 4? Clarifying Shampoo – 8.5 oz (I would have preferred the shampoo and conditioner, instead of the masque and conditioner or just the masque and a different item), Supergoop! City Sunscreen Serum (I have very fair skin so this will come in hand), Sumita Color Contrast Eyeliner (I wonder what color I will get, a lot of different options!), Color Club Gala’s Gems Collection (because I need more nail polish, lol), KIND Healthy Grain Bars (ehh). I’m definitely excited for this box!!
Any box with nail polish is a good box in my eyes!
I’m excited I’m getting the benefit in my bag but disappointed I’m getting lashes again. I don’t need them my lashes already brush my glasses on their own lol

I have the exact same Ipsy box as you do, but getting birchbox #15. It looks like both will be great this month! It will be interesting if my birchbox eyeliner is indeed lime green….but it is definitely worth trying for $10 for all of the products combined! 🙂

i think i would have been happy with any box that had the balm in it. 8 is nuts. btw, you wouldn’t believe what i found at costco today! i posted it on my fb and it blew up my feed!
I just signed up for Ipsy. I don’t know what happened with my profile but iI am getting the Sexy Hair Volumizer instead of the Demeter Jasmine roll on which would have been my favorite item. I am so disappointed.
Oh my profile is all over the place. Sometimes someone else’s bag would be perfect for me and I get a bag that just doesn’t fit me at all. It’s kind of the luck of the draw~

I am happy with both my BB and ipsy! I wish I had gotten the demeter, but I have TONS of demeter and am happy with just the code. Maybe.
I wanted The Balm product in my BB last month, and now I am jealous of it again this month! Hopefully I will end up with one eventually.
I have lash extensions (LOVE), so I won’t need my fake lashes, but I am saving all my fake ones up to mail in a package (with other goodies) to a friend who uses them.
Hopefully you do!!! I never get too sad because I always seen to eventually get them.
Ooohhhh you hit the jackpot with both your Ipsy & BB!! Mine are both mediocre this month – I’m really tempted to sign up for an additional Ipsy bag to get more of a selection.

I’m getting ALMOST the same Ipsy as you – except I got St. Tropez face tan instead of the roll on perfume, which works great for me!
My BB is box 29, and it’s the first time I got 6 items :O which is exciting! I’m more happy with my Ipsy than BB, but both seem awesome!

Oh and yes you can sign up for more than one IPSY bag! I have two of them shipping to the same place and both bags are usually about 70% different. I’ll get the same one or two items but the rest are different. It is fabulous! Use your link as a referral and get the points.

I was really excited since this is my first ipsy bag but I feel like the customization was not really useful. I ended up with lashes, a face primer, urban decay pencil, highlighter mousse, and the lip balm. I was really hoping for the polish since I put that as the only thing I really wanted :/ Hopefully better luck next time!
My ipsy is hit or miss. Sometimes it’s amazing and sometimes it’s not even close. Hopefully next month is better for you.
Lucky! I wish I got that Cailyn! I got the hideous blue polish that seems completely out of season and random 🙁 Other than that, I wasn’t too bummed, but that Cailyn!

Super excited to get the Dr. Brandt product! I got the Birchbox Dr. Brandt bag a few months ago and I am excited to get more! I usually let my daughter have the Birchbox, and I get the Ipsy and this month they will be perfect for the both of us.

Yay for spoilers! Yep, I looked at what I’ll be getting from ipsy. It’s my first ipsy box, so I’m glad it looks like a good one. They are sending me the lollitint, Cailyn lip balm, UD eye pencil, City Color eyeshadow and the eyelashes. The Demeter roll on would have been fantastic though!
That’s a good bag! The Benefit and the lip balm would do it for me!

I’m getting Birchbox #7, which I’m very happy with. It’s almost identical to yours, except instead of the Shea Terra Organics black soap cleanser (which I totally love, I received a sample in a previous bb and now buy it all the time). I’m getting the Cynthia Rowley eye pencil! I don’t usually wear eye liner, but I’ve heard great things about this one, so it may just be the thing to make me convert.

I’m still waiting on BB, but it looks like several of us are getting the same bag from ipsy. I was hoping for the “snow” perfume this past winter and am disappointed I’m getting the jasmine. I’m afraid it will set off my allergies. My daughter thought it sounded good so I told her if it was in my bag she could have it. Lucky girl.
I have the shea terra cleanser and love it, so hopefully you will too. I am hoping for the blush and if I get nail polish I hope it is the art pens.

Do you (or anyone else who reads theses comments 🙂 know for how long you usually have to be on the waiting list for Ipsy? I signed up a couple of weeks ago (got you some points by the way 🙂 ….but I still haven’t gotten off the waiting list. Unfortunately I’m not on FaceBook (!!!!!…..yes! I know LOL), so I can’t do the whole “skip-the-waiting-list” thing. I’m hoping that I don’t have to wait for several months 🙁

WOW! I totally scored with the Ipsy bag this month too. I wasn’t incredibly in love with last month, but this is looking to be one of my favorite months thus far. Yayyy! I live and swear by Urban Decay’s eyeliner and love them in the trial size versions (take up less room in the purse).
With Birchbox, I got Box #9 and it looks like I am getting a yellow eyeliner (erm, really?). I’m dumbfounded on how that got chosen to go with green eyes, but c’est la vie. Rest of the box looks interesting.
