April 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box

It’s a total Fancy Box week around here! Mystery Boxes (I’ll have the other review up tomorrow), my Snoop Dogg box shipped, and today my April 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box arrived!

Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month plus shipping, has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha, Snoop Dogg and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites).

The Box

As usual, Fancy box ships via FedEx and took two days to arrive to me in MI. I was so anxious to get this box today and I cannot even tell you how many times I peeked out the window to see if the FedEx Man was here.

First Look

I couldn’t help but shake my head when I opened the box and unpacked all the packaging materials. It was so empty! I wish they’d use different size boxes! I bet the FedEx people wish that too.

The Information Card

Ohhh, instead of the normal Fancy Box information cards we got a little information book this month!  I think Kelly Rowland did something similar with her first box and I really liked it so it was fun to see it again!  Here is what the April 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box included:

~Little Biggie Cloud Necklace by Kelly Shami NYC ($80): Oh my goodness, I was not expecting the price tag to be $80 on this one!  The “It was all a Dream” quote is a reference to Biggie Smalls, who, no joke, I love. I seriously remember hearing about when he got shot.  And then the Puff Daddy / Faith Evans tribute.  Loved that too.  I want to somehow turn this into a keychain.  Do you think that’s somehow possible?  I would get more use out of it that way and I think it would be awesome on a keychain.

~Understand Rap ($13): Ha!!!  I do need this!  You can reference this book to figure out some of the rap lyrics that have you confused.  And some of them confuse me.  Sort of related, but did anyone watch Late Night with Seth Meyers when he had Martha Stewart and Lil Jon on last week?  I was cracking up.  She likes rap, but doesn’t know where to find it on the radio, so she just rolls down her windows in the car to listen to it.  BAHAHA.  It was an awesome episode.

~Bad Ass B*tch Soy Candle ($18): I saw that someone got this in their Fancy Mystery Box and I was so jealous.  But here it is!  And oddly, the scent “Any Scent I F’N Want” is amazing.  No seriously.  Totally cracked me up.  I am putting this in my office.

~Hip Hopsicle Ice Tray ($15): These different shaped ice cube trays always crack me up.  Our ice maker in the fridge is broken (I have no idea what’s up and I don’t care enough to call anyone) so we have been making our own ice (I act like it’s so hard).  This will come in handy for that and also to make the kids Jell-O in.  They like shapes like this.

All totaled I came up with a value of $126 for the April 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box.  And I loved this month!  Maybe my favorite Kelly Rowland box to date!  I will use every single thing and I couldn’t be happier with this.  I was actually thinking about skipping a few months of this subscription, but that’s clearly not going to be happening after this month!
