The Sweet Box by Orange Glad is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love!

The Package

Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail.  Boxes begin to ship the second week of the month and tracking information is sent at that time.

The Box

Inside the pouch is the actual Orange Glad Sweet Box.  I had almost forgotten that I ordered this box until I got the tracking for it.  If I recall correctly there was a promo code last month that encouraged me to sign up?

First Look

Ohh, the first look was a good one!  This was my first ever Orange Glad box but I have been wanting to try it for a while. I am always jealous of everyone else’s delicious looking snacks!

The Information Card

The April 2014 Orange Glad Sweet Box doesn’t have a theme, however, they do have an information card which included details on the snacks along with information on when these snacks need to be enjoyed by.  Here is what we received:

~Cafe Valley Petit Chocolate Chip Muffin: Mmm, I am going to go out on a limb and say they were amazing because I gave them to L as part of his breakfast and they were gone in two seconds.

~Greyston Bakery Brown Sugar Blondie & Walnut Fudge Brownie ($7):B and I tested the Brown Sugar Blondie last night and, for whatever reason, were both shocked it was so brown sugar like.  Not that it was bad by any means, but just different!  B will take care of the Walnut Fudge one later today.  I don’t overly like walnuts or nuts in general in my desserts.

~Wicked Whoopies Red Velvet Whoopie (~$2): This looks a little smooshed, but it still tastes amazing!  They were featured on the Oprah Winfrey show and really are wicked good!  I am going to put the rest of this in the fridge (I just took a few bites) because I think this chilled would be out of the park delicious!

~The Truffle Cake Co. Sinful Red Velvet Truffle Cake Peanut Butter Paradise ($4): I really should have taken these out of the package to take a picture.  I would redo it, but yeah, they are all gone.  SO good.  Very rich though, so you don’t want to eat 10 of them! One (or two if B’s not there to eat the other) is enough ;).

I couldn’t do a price breakdown on the April 2014 Orange Glad Sweet Box because not everything was available online.  I did notice, however, that you typically have to purchase a dozen of the items.  You can’t just try one here and one there unless you live close to the actual location or subscribe to Orange Glad!  I love trying all these fun snacks and will probably keep this one around for another month or two at least.  Not only is it good, but I am curious to see how they handle the summer months and if it has any impact on the items they send.

What do you think of Orange Glad?  If you are interested in signing up or just want to learn more, click here!  And don’t forget that you can still use the couon code “ORANGE10” to save $11.95 off your first box!  That makes your first box only $10!!!!!!  Amazing right??
