First Look

I liked what I saw in the first look and couldn’t wait to see what was in that little kit!

The Information Card

The April 2014 Travelbox theme was “Oversized Edition” and included the following eco-frienday, multipurpose, all-around-cool travel items:

~Green Garmento KangerHanger Pouch Bag ($12.99): This bag does everything. You can start out using it on your trip as a garment bag and then you can turn it into a laundry bag as you start to accumulate dirty clothes.  I cannot be the only one who ends up with a pile of clothes on the floor of a hotel room.  And then I usually “borrow” whatever bag they have for laundry service to drag the dirty stuff home.

~SkyReady Essentials Kits ($14.99): This kit includes everything you need to stay healthy during your travels.  It’s got a mask, vitamin C, surface wipes, an eye mask, ear plugs and hand sanitizer.  I am not a huge germ-o-phobe, but even I sometimes get creeped out by say, the hotel remote.  Use a sanitizing wipe or bring a ziplock bag and throw the remote in there and use it.  For real.

~Aromas Travel Perfume Sticks (~$7.50):  Ohh, this is genius.  I have never heard of a perfume stick before, but I do believe it will now go with me every time I travel. I hate dragging a big bottle of perfume with me and unless the little ones have a sprayer on them,   I don’t like to bring those either because I fear they will leak.  But this won’t and it smells amazing!

~Kind Bars in Dark Chocolate Nuts & Sea Salt ($3.98): Of all the Kind bar flavors, these rate by far my favorite.  B really likes them as well, so happily there are two! And I would agree, these make a great traveling snack.

All totaled I came up with a value of $39.46 for the April 2014 Travelbox!  The box is $25.95 (including shipping) and I think it’s a great box for those who travel a lot or even those who just want to travel a lot!  I should mention that Travelbox recently reduced their prices from $33/box (plus shipping) to $19.95/month (plus shipping) and doesn’t appear to have decreased the value of their boxes, which is amazing!

I’ve used solid perfume before, but it’s always been in little pots. Having it in stick form is a great idea and it’s so much less messy! I just ordered AROAMAS’s seven piece sampler pack. They let you choose from their current fragrances and they send you a slice of each (good for several uses so you can really test it out, they say) and it was a little less than $13 including shipping. I’m so excited now. LoL

If I was going on vacation anytime soon, I’d totally order that Skyready kit, too.

I totally agree. I don’t want to have to stick my finger in the pot of perfume! This is much easier!
