My mail came so late today and the anticipation was killing me because I knew that my Birchbox Limited Edition Free for All box was coming!! Birchbox offers a monthly subscription of $10, however, they also offer Limited Edition boxes, like this one, on occasion. This box was $44 and every product in this collection is free of parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals, and GMOs.
I ordered this box on Tuesday (as soon as it was released) and it arrived today. I think the shipping time was two days total? Monthly boxes ship via USPS Mail Innovations, but shop orders and Limited Edition boxes ship via Priority Mail!
For some reason I expected this box to be much bigger? No idea why since the site lists the size of the products, but I was shocked that two of these, an Orange Glad box and my regular mail all fit in my mailbox today!
Of course I knew exactly what was in the box (they always release all the contents of their Limited Edition boxes so you know exactly what is coming), but I was anxious to check out sizes and smells and all that in person!
As I mentioned, the Birchbox: Limited Edition Free for All box is an all natural collection of best-in-class products rely largely on natural extracts from flowers, fruits, and veggies. The information card is packed with details on uses, ingredients, etc. Products included are as follows:
~W3LL PEOPLE Hypnotist Eyeliner ($16.50): This eyeliner is all-natural and does not contain any of the preservatives and adhesives that lots of eyeliners do that can accelerate skin aging. I don’t use eyeliner much, but I am keeping this because when I do I certainly don’t want to be accelerating the aging process!
~Alima Pure Lip Tint in Rhubarb ($12): Ohh, I love this! It’s got more color than a regular balm, but not as much as a lipstick. I like to have a little color on my lips, but not a ton like lipstick gives, so this is awesome.
~eco-armour Shave with Benefits Shave Foam with Mint + Eucalyptus ($6.32): I don’t generally use a shave cream, but this smells good so why not? Or maybe I will give it to B to shave his chest with? I am guessing he uses something?
~FEED 10 Pouch ($16): This pouch is probably the main reason I ordered this box. I love this and will probably use it to store things in the car or as a travel makeup bag. I love that tassel zipper! Oh, and I want to mention that this pouch gives ten school meals to children globally!!!
~Jurlique Purely Bright Radiance Serum ($29): We received a different Jurilque serum in the March PopSugar box, but I think I like this one better. This is supposed to reduce dark spots and other discolorations and helps promote collagen synthesis, all of which I need. And sort of related, but I am planning to do a post soon about skin care (mine sucks) and I am going to be looking for everyone’s routines. What do you use? What order do you use the things in? How often?
~Karma Organic Spa Nail Polish Remover with Soybean Oil and Tea Tree Oil ($1.53): This is awesome. I hate the smell of regular nail polish and the fact that you need to open the window and make sure not to spill it because it will eat your table can’t be good either! This is works great and will be on my to buy list.
~Løv Organic Tea (muslin tea bags in assorted flavors: Løv is Good, Løv is Pure, Løv is Zen, and Løv is Beautiful) ($2.98): Meh. It appears that no box is complete without tea (LOL) and this one is no exception. The packaging on this is awesome though, so that scores cute points.
~Shamanuti Activated Charcoal Cleanser ($6.10): I am very excited about this charcoal cleanser! I washed my face right after it arrived and it felt so nice. This will likely also be a full sized purchase.
All totaled I came up with a value of $90.43 for the Birchbox Limited Edition Free for All Box, which is more than double the $44 cost of the box! I LOVE when Birchbox does Limited Edition boxes and rarely let one pass me by. I really really want Birchbox to do a monthly (heck, even quarterly) “Home” box because they hit those out of the park when they do them. Hopefully one day!
The Limited Edition Birchbox boxes do sell out so if you want to be sure to get one, click here to order and / or to check out all the details. I am not sure if these codes still work, but “MOBILE20” may work for 20% off and “WELCOMEOFFER20” worked for 20% off earlier in the week as well! Or you could use the code “YUMIKIMCASE” to get a free floral iPhone 5/5S case from Yumi Kim, which I know works! It’s totally gorgeous and you know I am going to get one!
What do you think of the Birchbox Free for All Limited Edition Box? Want to win one? You’re in luck! All you need to do is enter in the Rafflecopter widget below and get yourself entered! But in the mean time, are you going to pick this box up?
The Shamantui Activated Charcoal Cleanser.
Most interested in the eyeliner but the charcoal wash seems cool.
Looks like a great box!! Love the pouch, but Im still thinking about getting it!
The lip tint and the bag!
This box has several interesting items for different reasons, but I think I’d most like to try the radiance serum.
I really like the FEED bag as well. It looks adorable.
The Jurlique serum is probably my favorite item (although I love everything in the box). I also received the other Jurlique serum in my PopSugar box, and it’s already become part of my routine.
The Jurlique serum!
I love the organic nail polish remover!
Yes! I love the feed Bag!
I would like to try the nail polish remover the most but, I love the bag!
I’d love to try the charcoal cleanser.
Would love to try the cleanser.
The activated charcoal cleanser! I have terrible skin and really want to try this one!
I’m torn between the eyeliner and the nail polish remover. I wonder if the natural nail polish removers work as well as the salon strength stuff.
The activated charcoal cleanser looks really cool!
It’s a tie between the Feed bag & the shave cream!
Love the bag–but, I’m most interested in trying the tea.
I loved the Jurlique serum we got in the Pop Sugar box a month or so ago, and would love to try this one too!
my favorite is the jurlique serum. i love the brand!
I’d love to try the jurlique. I got the other one in my popsugar box and loved it!
I love the feed pouch!
I’m still undecided??I like the lip tint and the Feed bag a lot though!
I would love to try that charcoal cleanser! I recently discovered that the few charcoal items I’ve tried on my face have been awesome!
I think my favorite items would be a tie between that lip ring or the Jurlique serum – though it all looks great!
The bag! For sure 🙂
I think my favorite item is the Shave cream … Tha may be because I didn’t but any shaving cream at the store this week but still I want to try it and also the Jurlique serum, I have been loving the Jurlique serum from the PS box!
The tea! 😀 I’m a tea kick right now so I’d love to try some new flavors.
Hi, love your blog. I visit your site everyday 😉 I’m a native Floridian(skin cancer is on the rise) . I would love to share my thoughts on products and routine; As a licenced skin and massage therapist: and a organic/natural living advocate.
The Feed bag has so much character and the fact that it provides 10 school meals to children..AWESOME!!
I like the cleanser the most and would love to try it!
Love the bag! Lol
I love the FEED bag. I can always use those little bags for things, so useful! The charcoal cleanser looks pretty intriguing as well.
i cant decide between the nail polish remover and charcoal wash
The Jurlique serum! Let us know ifyou think it works!
Jurlique Purely Bright Radiance Serum
I’m most intrigued by the charcoal cleanser.
The lip tint!
Want that bag! 🙂
My favorite item is the eco-armour Shave with Benefits Shave Foam with Mint and Eucalyptus.
Looks like a lot of good stuff. The serum is super interesting. I want to try it!
I am a tea fanatic-so, the tea!
The lip tint.
I think the pouch is my favourite too.
My favorite is definitely the Feed bag. So awesome.
Actually, the eyeliner! And the charcoal cleanser.
I loved the PopSugar Jurlique too–so I definitely want to check out this one!
After your cousin has gotten enough tea, maybe you should do a tea giveaway! Like a cute mug or kettle or strainer, plus all the millions of tea that you every month!
Ahh, I have heard that before, but I don’t know. I’d feel bad giving away something I don’t love as a prize!
I think my favorite product is probably the charcoal facial wash!
I love the bag!
I love the bag, serum and lip tint!
That lip balm and the make travel bag! That’s real cute!
I like the FEED pouch.
I think you should do a blog post about your favorite things ever received in your boxes, things you actually continue to buy. Because some things look go great and you say you would buy more of, but I wonder if it really is worth it. Like the charcoal cleanser, I would love to buy it, but is it buying or trying material? You know? Since you give all things a try, I would love to hear what you have gotten and now continue to purchase or have really grown to love and use. Just an idea!
Well, I do my monthly best of the boxes posts which are my favorite / most used items from that month. Beauty products are SO hard to recommend because they work so different for everyone! Plus, sometimes you don’t even get a big enough sample to know for sure. You should try to trade for one though! This is a good sized one, so you’d be able to tell on your skin.
I LOVE the FEED bag & I really want to try the charcoal cleanser. Heck, I want it all. I almost bought it today, had it all in my cart, then backed out again. I wish I could find $50 on the ground & then I’d definitely buy it!
At first glance I thought the eyeliner was going to be my favorite, but then after reading that the bag grants 10 meals globally!!! That’s amazing- the bag is hands down my favorite item!
I would love to try the shave foam.
I really love the FEED bag!
Definitely the lip tint.
I love the little bag!
The makeup bag is my favorite.
Doesn’t Target do the FEED program? Or at least I see their stuff at my local Target. Love the idea of being able to help children get meals in such an easy way, I was a child who relied on school lunches for 90% of my meals growing up so I always try to give back when I can.
I think they did that special line with them?
I thought I could skip this box, but now you have me thinking that I really need it! I love the idea of the charcoal cleanser….
So Karma organics is actually a nail salon in NJ and I’ve been there a few times to get my nails done. They use organic nail polish too and when you get a pedicure the basin is filled with flower petals. I actually prefer the lavender version of the nail polish remover. I swear by it. It doesn’t work the same as regular nail polish remover though. You kind of have to let it sit for a minute or two and then take your nail polish off. It works much better that way.
Ohhh, it is??? I want to go there!
Jurlique!!!
Love the pouch!!!
Love the pouch, lip balm and tea!
The feed bag…I love that it feeds 10 children a meal 🙂
I like the Jurlique serum; but I’d also love to try the polish remover!
The lip tint!
I really love (would love to try) the Jurlique serum.
I love everything in the box, but I’m most excited about the Jurlique serum. I liked the one we got in Popsugar but this one looks even better! I need to brighten my dull winter skin!
Feed pouch!
I can’t decide whether it’s the Well People eye liner – I love the idea that it’s better for you and your eyes! or the nail polish remover. I always feel like I’m putting a harsh chemical on my nails, and it always smells horrid, so this I’d love to try!
The Feed bag for sure!
Can’t wait to try charcoal cleanser. Bought this because I like that the box has more personal care/wellness stuff and less makeup. Have enough makeup from other boxes right now! lol
the nail polish remover!!
radiance serum and lip tint love!
I think its the nail polish remover, even though its a smaller item
The pouch for sure!
I don’t know what it is about your reviews, but they make me want to buy things I didn’t think I wanted! I am now considering getting this box. I think it’s the lip tint that pushes me over the edge! Probably my fave. I guess I didn’t really go through each item and realize it’s something I would totally use.
I have to say my favorite thing is those teas! I’m a tea lover and that packaging is just too cute not to pass up!
I like the feed zipper bag the best!
I really want the eye liner! I have terrible chemical allergies and it really limits the kinds of make up I can wear. Sooo, any chance to find a new brand of awesome make up for me is great!
The Feed bag!! I am so in love with it.
I love that Birchbox has added a new ingredient conscious section in their shop! Can finally put those points to use! I love the bag and the nail polish remover. I am over nail polish that smells terrible!
The lip stuff! I like light color with my balm too!
The bag is so cute….i am a bag fanatic!!
The tea bags look super fun!
xxx
My favorite item is the serum. I love that brand!
The charcoal cleanser
That “Feed” bag is just too cute!
I’m gonna say the nail polish remover!
I’m thinking I may need to buy the charcoal cleanser no matter what. That’s the item I have my eye on most in this box.
The eyeliner looks great. My eyes are sensitive to -everything- so this might be something I could use without my eyes tearing up and ruining all my hard makeup work.
I can’t decide between the charcoal cleanser and the eyeliner–I don’t particular like the FEED bag, but the fact that it provides 10 meals to kids makes it probably #1 after all. I absolutely love companies who put thought into how they can help and tie it to their products.
I would love to see a post on skin care–I’m new to the beauty seen and have always had problems with acne, etc., but I don’t know what half the specially named items do! YouTube and Google can only do so much for ya 🙂
I know. I would love to see what everyone’s order and routine is!
The shave foam and the tea!!
I’d like to try the nail polish remover
the shaving cream
I need to try some of that nail polish remover!!! My nails are in worse shape than when I was farming… I think from the acetone remover
I’ve been wanting to try Jurlique products for a while now, so that is my favorite product in this box.
I think personally the best item in the bag, or at least my favorite, would be the nail polish remover. I have a 3 year, and I like to do her nails, but the acetone in nail polish remover is so harsh. I would love to try something, that like you said, we wouldn’t have to open a window to use.
My favorite is the Jurlique face serum. I have recently become a huge fan of this line. Love it!
My favorite item in the box is the Jurilque serum.
The charcoal wash! And I love the bag.
I would love to try the Jurlique Purely Bright Radiance Serum. I have never used a serum before so this one sounds awesome!
The feed bag is super cute.
The serum I think…
Honestly, my favorite item is the tea! Don’t get me wrong, I love the rest of it, but the tea packaging is just adorable and I can never have too much tea 🙂
the lip tint, charcoal cleanser, and jurlique serum are the two products i’m most interested in!
xo. jenn @ hello, rigby!
The charcoal cleanser!
Definitely the nail polish remover!
i love the bag! so cute, and helps support such a good cause!
I would be grateful to try any item in the box. It all looks wonderful. Thank you for the great giveaway.
The eyeliner looks awesome!
The FEED pouch is my favorite and I love that it is a great cause!
I think mine is the jurlique serum, I seem to really love their brand so I have good feelings about it.
Totally the FEED bag. I love the look of it. Not sure why but it just looks awesome and gets me excited seeing it.
i’d really like to try the charcoal cleaner.
the nail polish remover
I really liked the Jurlique in last month’s PopSugar box, and would be most excited to try another product from them!
the jurlique!!
Definitely the eyeliner!
I like the charcoal cleaner.
Honestly, I think the bag is my favorite item. Or the charcoal cleanser..
Most definitely the Alima as my lips are nuts all the time due to the windiness of mountain-side college-land, and the Feed bag. Feed is a great concept, and I’ve been following it for a while, I just wish that when they had been in stores, that I had been near a participating one!
The eyeliner!
I love the charcoal cleanser.
The nail polish remover! I have never seen an organic nail polish remover before!
that feed bag is the best!
I’m super interested in the lip tint!
The chatcoal cleanser. Always on the look out for a good facial cleanser!
The Feed make-up bag!
I would love to try the Jurlique serum. Loved the one in the Popsugar box, so I’d love to try this one.
The charcoal cleanser and nail polish remover!
The bag
I’d like to try the Alima Pure Lip Tint in Rhubarb
radiance serum
I love love love tinted balms but I’m also curious about anything with charcoal!
The W3LL PEOPLE Hypnotist Eyeliner.
the Alima Pure Lip Tint
I love the serum.
Definitely want that activated charcoal cleanser!
I think I’d most like to try the nail polish remover! And the tea. I’m always excited about tea!
My fave is the charcoal cleanser! :0
The Feed bag 🙂
Think that I would love the Jurlique serum. But, lots of other goodies in this box. Thanks for another great giveaway.
I Love the Feed bag!
My favorite item is the polish remover.
The alima pure lip tint looks amazing!
I’m most excited about the Jurlique Purely Bright Radiance Serum!
