Wantable, who kindly sent me this box to review, offers 4 to 5 full-sized premium makeup products, hand-picked to perfectly match your preferences. They also offer intimates and jewelry boxes, again customized to your preferences.  And unlike the majority of other subscription boxes, Wantable allows you to return the box if you aren’t totally 100% happy. You just go into your account, go to your order history and click “Return Items” and you’ll get a prepaid label and a full refund.

The Box

Wantable ships via USPS and took only one day to arrive.  They shipped it on a Friday and I received it on a Saturday!  They are only one state away from me, but still, this was record time.

First Look

Everything was looking good so far.  I liked the variety of things in there and was already happy with this box!

Preferences

Like I mentioned before, you can totally customize your Wantable box.  You fill out a questionnaire telling them what you Love, Like and Dislike.  You’ll get more of the things you love and none of the things you Dislike.  It also asks about color preferences and that sort of thing. I still have my profile set to where the only thing I dislike is eyeliner.  I have enough eyeliner to last me the rest of my life, so that’s the only thing I don’t “need”.

The Information Card

The May 2014 Wantable box included things to give you the best of both worlds this summer.  You can opt for the brightest colors on your eyes, lips and cheeks or just go for that subtle sun kissed look and this month’s box aimed to include a little of both.  Here is what my box included: ~Real Techniques Retractable Kabuki Brush ($9.99): Oh I love this!  I love that it’s retractable because it makes it much easier to carry when you are traveling.  Plus, it’s hot pink, so that’s a win right there!

~ncLA Nail Laquer (I Only Fly Private) ($16): I can’t decide if I think this color is more of a pink or more of an orange.  It’s described as a “bright orange nail lacquer”, but I see pinks in it too.  Regardless, I like NCLA stuff and I like nail polish, so this is awesome!

~Medusa’s Makeup Eye Dust (Multi-Tone) ($14): These colors are bright but for sure not as bright as some of the options Medusa has!  I am still deciding if I want to keep or gift these.  I have so many neutral shadows, but I don’t have too many with this fun shimmer.  And the information card suggests applying your shadow before your foundation so you can clean up any fallout before perfecting your face.  I have always done foundation (well bb cream) first, but now I am super curious what order everyone else does their makeup in??

~Three Custom Color Creme to Powder Blush (Berry) ($22.50): Oh, this blush is gorgeous.  I love the color and think it’s just about perfect!

~Eddie Funkhouser UD Bronze & Sculpt Powder ($12.99): I totally thought this was a shadow palette.  Turns out it’s a multi-tasking bronzer, blusher, highlighter and contour powder all in one.  I am for sure going to be needing a YouTube instruction video on how to make this work.

All totaled I came up with a value of $75.48 for my May 2014 Wantable Makeup Box.  I have been loving my Wantable Makeup boxes and I think a lot has to do with the fact that I rearranged my preferences and “let” them send me a better variety of things.  The box itself is $36/month, so obviously the value is there on this one as well! Do you subscribe to Wantable?  If so, what’d you get in your box (makeup or accessories or intimates) this month?  If you don’t subscribe, what are you waiting for?  Click here to subscribe or learn more.

Disclosure: This complimentary box was received for review purposes. All opinions are my own and no compensation was received.
