It’s time for another edition of Tuesday Troubles. I’ve said it before (like every week), but this should be named “things i’m annoyed / confused / want to complain about”, however I couldn’t figure out how to make any of those into a snappy title, so Tuesday Troubles it is. And yes, I do realize that these aren’t true “troubles”. I know that many of these for sure could be defined as first world problems!
~I am not exactly troubled by this, but totally curious. Why do Managers of baseball teams were uniforms? Now I don’t mind seeing the Tigers Manager in a baseball uniform because he is a complete hottie, but they are the only managers in professional sports (or really any sport) I can think of that wear full uniforms. Is it because they run on the field and need to be wearing cleats? Or because of all the dirt? Or is that just the way it has been and that’s the way it’s going to be?
~Ugh. I complain about this all the time, but seriously it’s so annoying. I cannot when foods don’t say the flavor on the outside of the package. For example, the kids love these Bear Paw things. But I will be darned if I can figure out what flavor it is before we open it. Sometimes L wants the Chocolate Chip one instead of say, the Banana one. Too bad. You’ll be getting whatever is inside! Is it that hard to just label them with the flavor? Geez.
~How far in advance do you start planning your vacations? I alternate between planning super far in advance (I think I booked our Disney cruise about 18 months out) and then sometimes I book total last minute. I am thinking ahead to next year’s Spring Break and want to start planning (we are thinking San Diego / Disneyland). Crazy? Normal?
~I wonder this just about every time the situation comes up, but when do you start to let your children go into the bathroom in a public place by themselves? L is almost 6, but I still always take him into the Ladies Room when he has to go. Obviously the big family restrooms are the way to go, but that’s not always an option. I think it’s less of a big deal for L to go in the Ladies Room because there are doors so really what’s the difference if he goes in the ladies room? But what on earth do Dad’s of little girls do?
~And finally, I know I am going to get tricked by someone’s April Fool’s Day prank today, which is both troubling because I am so gullible and funny, because, well, I am so gullible. So tell me, what April Fool’s Day tricks have you fallen for? Anything really crazy? Are you playing any tricks today?
That’s it from here for now! What’s troubling you today?
