After receiving my fabulous Fancy Mystery Boxes last week (you can read about them here and here), I just couldn’t help myself and had to order another one. I once again went for the Large Women’s box option.
If you aren’t familiar with Fancy, they offer a regular monthly Fancy Box full of cool goodies or celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Snoop Dogg, Coco Rocha and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites). In addition, Fancy is now offering Mystery Boxes in three sizes – Small ($10), Medium ($20) and Large ($40), and either Men or Women.
As per usual, my Fancy Box took two days to arrive. I ordered it on 4/17 and received it on 4/19. Super fast right? This Mystery Box shipped via FedEx from MA, however, some Mystery Boxes also appear to be shipping from New York.
I am always stalking for Fancy Box spoilers, so I was actually pretty familiar with this box when I opened wit. I wasn’t totally excited about it, but I wasn’t disappointed at all either. Fancy Mystery Boxes do not contain information cards, but my box contained the following items:
~Sophie Sparrow Shark Tooth Necklace ($40): I actually received this necklace in a previous Fancy Box, so it will likely end up in the trade pile. Fancy Mystery Boxes don’t make any promises regarding duplicates so I go into the boxes knowing that it’s always a possibility.
~Chunky Knit Infinity Scarf ($16): I love this! However, I hope to not having to wear this infinity scarf for the next few months (at least)! At least. It’s thicker in person than it looks on the model in the link, but I like it better this way.
~Square JellyFish iPhone Stand ($14.95): This is also a repeat for me so this will end up being swapped as well. It does work nicely when you want to prop your phone up, ohh, say to entertain your little one with Thomas the Train videos during a long wait at a restaurant.
~TKO Milano Skeleton Rubber Watch ($95): I never wear watches, however, that hasn’t stopped me from always wanting this watch. It came in a Fancy Box last Spring, but we were receiving the Men’s box option at the time, so we got a different watch. I don’t know that I will always start wearing a watch just because I received this, but every once in a while for sure.
All totaled I came up with a value of $165.95 for the Women’s Fancy Mystery Box (Large). I paid $47.95 ($40 + $7.95 shipping) and totally enjoyed it. I didn’t fancy it (get it – LOL) as much as the last one I received, however it was totally worth the cost. I love Fancy Mystery Boxes because you just don’t know what you will get. It could be anything!
