MyIrelandBox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a subscription box straight from Ireland to your doorstep! The box includes 1 large or 2-4 Irish made/designed home goods, accessories, jewellery, stationary or beauty products.
MyIrelandBox ships directly from Ireland and usually takes slightly over a week to arrive.
This month’s box was a mystery even after I opened it. I obviously knew what one of the items was, but the rest I had no idea!
The April 2014 MyIrelandBox didn’t have a theme (some do and some don’t), but included the following items:
~Holden Leathergoods Keyring: Holden Leathergoods is located in Dingle, Co. Kerry and creates high quality pieces from Italian leather. I think the keychain is well nicely made, but of course I have my eyes on some of their bigger pieces. LOL!
~Annabel Langrish Animal Notelets (~$7.50): Super cute! I love the art work on these and look forward to sending them out.
~Fab Cow Designs “Happiness”: This is the word “Happiness” written in “Ogham” which is an ancient Irish language. I am not 100% sure if this is suppose to be like a tile you just prop up as a decoration (you know in like in those easels) or what, but I am thinking it would make a great coaster!
~The Irish Handmade Glass Company (~$28): Gorgeous! I love it It’s all handmade, the glass is 100% mouth-blown and the crystal is hand-cut. This is even more stunning in person than it is in the picture. I swear. I already have it on my desk in my office!
I didn’t do a cost breakdown on this box because I couldn’t find prices for everything online. I think the paperweight is one of my favorite MyIrelandBox items ever! I would love to go to their studio if I am every in Ireland and watch how they do this. MyIrelandBox starts at $41.70/month and a mini option is also available for $24.32/month (that’s after the exchange rate).
