Yay!!! My Citrus Lane Mystery Box arrived yesterday. I could not wait to tear into it and see what goodies it included this time. I cannot resist a Citrus Lane Mystery Box (or really any mystery box) and even though I know I probably already have many of the items, I don’t even care!
If you aren’t familiar, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for babies from 0 to 5 which contains four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child. They also have been offering Mystery Boxes every once in a while, which I love. This Mystery Box was $39 and promised a value of $80+. You could opt to select Boon Water Bugs (that is what I choose) or Boon Dive Appliques, however, the rest of the items were a mystery! Citrus Lane says that products included are from some of their favorite brands, and some will overlap with items that have been in previous Citrus Lane subscription boxes. They noted that items are appropriate for a variety of ages, recommended for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 2 years+).
Citrus Lane ships via FedEx Smart Post and you guessed it, it took a week to arrive!
Since this box was $10 more than the other mystery boxes Citrus Lane, it was also bigger and included more goodies! Look at how full this box was! Like their other Mystery Boxes, this box doesn’t include an information card, but the box included the following:
~Barefoot Books Driving My Tractor Puzzle ($14.99): The box has two puzzles in it (a 12 piece and a 24 piece). WB is still too young for this one, but he’ll grow into it!
~Zo*li Sumo Snack Pile ($18): Love this! We have one and I have gifted them a few times as well. They are awesome for store snacks and I can easily hand the boys their own snack container if we are in the car or something.
~Build-A-Burger from Green Toys ($8.50): I think this is the third burger we have gotten from CL (I have been getting boxes for ages and I get multiple boxes per month), but we totally use them and will use this as well! I think I will make this one a bathtub toy. For whatever reason, both boys like to play with fake food in the bathtub.
~Alex Dot to Dot Chalk ($2.95): We love sidewalk chalk! It’s so messy and so fun. L and WB end up covered it in every time we use it! But it gets broken and lost, so the more chalk we get the better!
~Green Sprouts Aqua Bottle ($8.49): This straw bottle / cup is super similar to the Skip Hop ones we have and LOVE! I am going to give this to my mom for when WB is at her house. We have to have a supply of cups at our house, up-north and at my moms because WB still cannot be trusted out of his highchair with a regular cup.
~Melissa & Doug Create-a-Craft Wooden Race Car ($7.29): L loves these and it makes it even more fun that he can get it assembled himself.
~Boon Water Bugs ($8.79): The boys love these They currently fight over the net in the bathtub and they will be thrilled to have another one.
~Hohner Colored Tambourine ($12): This is headed in the music bin I have for the boys. It has all their “instruments” in it and is awesome for getting some of that extra energy out!
All totaled I came up with a value of $81.01 for the latest Citrus Lane Mystery Box! And although we had many of the items, I expected that and thought this was a value value at $39!
Did you get a Citrus Lane Mystery Box? What’d you get in it and what Boon item did you select? I am curious if there were any variations between the boxes! All of the Mystery Box options are currently sold out, but I will let you know as soon as more are released (if they release more that is)! Citrus Lane is normally $29/month, but right now they are having a 20% off subscription sale, so if you purchase an annual subscription using the coupon code “MEMORIALDAY20” you can score boxes for $15.20/month! That’s a serious steal. But if you only want to try one month, you can use the coupon code “TAKE20OFF” to get your first month for only $9!!
