Much to my surprise, my May 2014 Fabletics package arrived yesterday. It wasn’t suppose to come until Tuesday, so this was a total shock!
In case you haven’t heard of them, Fabletics is the brainchild of actress and co-founder Kate Hudson, who partnered with the team behind JustFab to develop a multi-functional wardrobe solution for today’s active woman. Each month you’ll receive a new workout outfit (pieces you may select from include tops, tanks, tees, sports bras, hoodies, jackets, leggings, pants and shorts) starting at $49.95/month. And the best part is that if you aren’t interested in any of the items that month, don’t need anything, etc. you are free to skip the month (just do so by the 5th of the month) and won’t be charged.
Fabletics ships via FedEx Smart Post. I actually didn’t order until the 9th or 10th this month (I forgot to order earlier) so all things considered, it didn’t take that long for it to come.
Fabletics doesn’t include an information card because you are the one who selects what you will receive each month. Everything is packaged in individual sealed bags, just as if you order from any other online shop. I opted for the “Determined” outfit this month which contained the following pieces:
~Versital T (Black) ($15.95): I don’t totally love this t-shirt, but I do like it. It’s more of an everyday t-shirt than a workout t-shirt in my opinion. Had this fabric been just slightly different, perhaps with a little stretch to it, I probably would have loved this.
~Vaasa Sports Bra (Dark Pink) ($15.95): The color on this is an actual true pink which I really like. It’s on the thinner side, so it you are looking for a less supportive, but very breathable sports bra, go for this one for sure.
~Lima Capri (Deep Pink) ($31.95): I am on a mission to collect these in every color. I love the style and the fit and they are quite quickly becoming a wardrobe staple for me.
The May 2014 Fabletics outfit I selected had a value of $63.85 (that’s using VIP pricing had I purchased everything individually) which is awesome considering that I only paid $49.95. The quality on all the pieces was fabulous as usual and since I know people ask, I feel like, in general, Fabletics runs true-to-size to a bit big.
