iBbeautiful, who sent me this box to review, offers an innovative way for tween + teens girls to explore, sample + fall in love with inspiring beauty, accessory + lifestyle products (each box contains 3-5 items) – in the comfort of their own homes – through a monthly box subscription service. iBbeautiful aims to inspire girls to be their best with their natural beauty, which is a great thing for sure.
iBbeautiful ships via USPS Priority Mail. Orders before the 15th of the month will receive a box for that month. Orders after the 15th will be shipping the following month. All boxes are shipped towards the end of the month.
Every time I open one of the teen / tween boxes, I can’t help but think how much I would have loved something like this when I was younger!
The May 2014 iBbeautiful theme is “Invisible Crown” and focuses on self-confidence. Sometimes the best things about you are things people can’t see, but as long as you know and see how uniquely beautiful you are, that’s all that matters! Here is what the box included:
~Pretty Yum Thing Face Lotion ($10): This oil free lotion smells good and is designed for all skin types. I liked that they included a skin care product rather than makeup!
~Bohemian Friendship Bracelet ($12): OMG, do you remember making these when you were younger? Mine were never this fancy (like I couldn’t do flower patterns), but I totally loved making / wearing them. I had no idea kids still wore these!
~Yuru Polar Sticky Tabs ($6): I love these! They are adorable and will make fabulous book marks, planner notes, or whatever you want to do with them.
~Sequin Headband ($14): This is a horrible picture! It’s actually a very cute pink sequin headband. It’s stretchy and pink and glittery and even I would wear it.
~Always Wear An Invisible Crown T-Shirt ($15): I received the “Graphic-Tee” box option, which includes a t-shirt every month. The Basic Box has everything else you see in the box, with the exception of the t-shirt. Cute shirt, cute logo. I’d wear it when I was a tween!
All totaled I came up with a value of $57 for the May 2014 Tween Graphic-Tee iBbeautiful Box! The box itself is $29.95 (the Basic Box which does not include the t-shirt is $19.95), so the value is nearly double the cost of the box!
