Today has been a busy day around here, but I would be lying if I said I didn’t take a a break when my May 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box appeared on my porch this afternoon! I was so happy to see it!
Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month plus shipping, has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites), as well as, Fancy Mystery Boxes.
All Fancy Boxes ship via FedEx and take two days to arrive. I believe this shipped on Friday and arrived on Monday.
Not only was this month’s box super light, it was also super empty! LOL! They really need to get some different sized boxes! But other than it being empty, the first look was a good one.
There was no stated theme on the May 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box information card, but I could clearly tell it had a gold theme to it! Here is what was included:
~Rifle Paper Co. Gold Foil Pocket Notebooks ($11): Ohhh, I love these! I love Rifle Paper Co. and these little notebooks are fabulous! The pattern is very pretty and the paper inside is nice and thick, so they feel fancy to write in.
~Mane Message The Gold Glitter Headband ($5): I can always use more headbands and hairbands. I lose them constantly and this one is extra fun!
~Gold Sliding Card Case by WAKU ($20): This is a card case for your business and / or credit cards, but you could probably use it an a tiny clutch as well. I plan to use it as both.
~Amano Studio Geometric Mismatch Earrings ($32): I opened the box and thought, umm, these don’t match? Yeah, they aren’t suppose too! LOL! Now that I know that I have a new appreciation for them. I am not totally sure if I will keep them or trade them though since I don’t wear dangly earrings too much.
~NCLA 1991 Nail Wraps ($16):I find these to be a bit loud, but I think that’s how they are suppose to be, so I will go with it! I couldn’t be able to pull off a full set of these nails, but an accent nail on both hands, for sure.
All totaled I came up with a value of $84 for the May 2014 Kelly Rowland Fancy Box. I thought this was a great box and was totally happy with it! Last month’s was amazing as well and I have high hopes for June already. This box is right up there with the Jennifer Love Hewitt boxes, which is my favorite of all the celebrity curated Fancy Boxes!
