It’s time for another Thursday Thoughts! If you want to participate, but have no idea what a link-up is, you can check out my explanation of it here.
~How is it only Thursday? Hurry up weekend! This is B’s second to last week of school which I am super excited about (and I am sure he is too)! It’s going to be so fun to have him home every night. And I am sure he’s excited to be home more as well.
~My cousins are coming to town this weekend (another reason I wish it would get here) for the Color Me Rad race and B is running it as well. I randomly asked L if he wanted to do it since we were planning on going down there with everyone anyway, and OMG he is SO excited. He so wants to do it. I have no idea how long he will actually want to run for, but he’s so excited about getting all those colors thrown at him! I can’t wait for this!
~I still have a bunch of boxes coming this week, including my Citrus Lane Mystery Box, Orange Glad, GLOSSYBOX Mother’s Day Box, FAIR Treasure, Allure Summer Beauty Box, PopSugar (maybe?), Hatchery, Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box and a few more I am forgetting. It should be a busy few days. In a super good way!
~Has anyone heard about the “Hook-Up Truck” in San Francisco? What in the world? It’s exactly what you think it is. A truck that drives around that you can hook-up in. You can rent it for $75 for 30 minutes or $2,500 for 5 hours. WHAT? The founder said she realized there was a “need” for such a truck after hearing about her friends encounters on Grindr. I had NO idea there was such a need for something like this. No idea! I used to go the bar (kind of a lot) when I was younger and never once did I hear “I wish I had a truck to hook-up in!”. Am I out of the loop? B was like is this going to be on Shark Tank on day? Hmm, I don’t think so ;).
~B and L went to the Tigers game on Tuesday night and B let him pick a souvenir. He picked a cute little Paws lego mini fig. I was like that’s adorable! A perfect pick I told him. And then I saw the receipt yesterday. Dude, this thing was $18. I am not even joking. I am cracking up how ridiculous that is. I would like to stand near where they sell these in the store during a game and listen to the comments. Just for comparison, real Lego Minifigs are $3.99 at Target. It’s a good thing the tickets to the game were cheap! LOL!!!!
~WB is working on getting some (more) teeth and is not a happy camper. I am guessing two year molars maybe? But there’s no way he’s going to let me look. He’s super cute though, even at 2am.
~Bergdorf Goodman has all of the products (including size information) listed on their website from this month’s box! Everyone is getting six of them (plus the $25 Bergdorf Gift Card), but which six will you get is the question! They are selling the box for $40 on Bergdorf’s, but they are still only $21 at GLOSSYBOX! I even bought a 2nd box this month because I am so excited about it (you can gift boxes from your account for only $15)!!
I’ve gotta run, I have some reviews to write! What are you doing this weekend? Any big plans?
