~Happy Thursday! This week is flying by! Between L’s birthday, B getting home early from school and everything else, it’s just been a fun week around here. And tomorrow is L’s field trip to the farm which I think we are both super excited about.
~I am still expecting a TON of subscription boxes in the next few days including Birchbox, Citrus Lane, ipsy, Lip Factory, Love With Food, Orange Glad and Spark Box Toys. And there are always some surprises as well, so it should be a fun few days.
~I posted on Instagram about the cake (I bought the Duff Tie Dye Cake Mix from Target) I was making for L’s birthday and promised to report back on how it came out. Much to my surprise, it worked awesome. However, I totally didn’t need to buy this special cake mix. I have no idea what I was expecting, but it’s white cake mix and food coloring (and then I added some of my own as well). You separate it into six little bowls and then add the food coloring. And them you pour the colored batter into the pans one color at a time, right on top of each other. But it was good. And tasted good too! L helped me decorate it, which was the best part of the cake making process.
~Please tell me that someone else watched last week’s 16 & Pregnant with Summer and DJ? She’s right, her momma was a mess! But they did seem sweet and didn’t fight non-stop like all the other couples do, so I am routing for them to make it. Ohhh, and did you hear that Catelynn and Tyler (from Teen Mom) are having another baby! And in keeping with the reality show trend here, Dina is going to be back on Real Housewives of New Jersey this season! Eeek! It starts on July 13th and I am so so so excited! I will kind of miss Caroline and Jacqueline, but I will watch whatever that new show Caroline has is.
~If you are waiting on a prize or something else that requires mailing, it will be going out in the next few days. I swear! I like to limit my trips to the Post Office (well gas station, but whatever) to once a week and have been waiting for a few giveaways to end before I went! Ohh, and speaking of giveaways, the winner of the Allure Summer Beauty Box is Katy Martinek! Congrats!!!! You have been e-mailed.
