I already did my Fabletics review for this month, but when they came out with their new “accessories” line I knew I had to place another order to check it out. I got two of the sets, but I liked “The Complete Yoga Set” best so I am going to do a review on that one.
In case you haven’t heard of them, Fabletics is the brainchild of actress and co-founder Kate Hudson, who partnered with the team behind JustFab to develop a multi-functional wardrobe solution for today’s active woman. Each month you’ll receive a new workout outfit (pieces you may select from include tops, tanks, tees, sports bras, hoodies, jackets, leggings, pants and shorts) starting at $49.95/month. And the best part is that if you aren’t interested in any of the items that month, don’t need anything, etc. you are free to skip the month (just do so by the 10th of the month) and won’t be charged.
My order came in huge box because the other set I ordered was one of the ones with a bag in it, so I didn’t take an unboxing or a first look picture. Everything always comes individually packaged from Fabletics and includes a packaging slip so if you need to reference your order details it’s right there. As I mentioned I opted for “The Complete Yoga Set“, which included the following pieces:
~Jute Yoga Mat ($39.95): I picked this set in hopes that it would motivate me to get back into yoga. I really liked the classes I have taken and even if I just find a great video or two to do at home, I would be happy. Anyway, I really like this yoga mat. It’s feels very cushioned (but not in a bad way) and folds out nice and flat.
~Get A Grip Yoga Socks – Full Toe ($6.35): I so wasn’t paying attention when I ordered this because I did not realize that these were toe socks! I don’t know if my toes are oddly shaped or if I am just not used to toe socks but they feel weird to me. I will wear them for a while to try and get used to them though.
~Tritan Water Bottle ($8.75): I like the design of this (the side is molded to the shape of your hand do you can easily grab it) and it easy to clean as well. I’m so used to cleaning sippy cup parts that this is no big deal at all.
According to the VIP Member prices, “The Complete Yoga Set” has a value of $55.05. The non-member price of all the items is $68.85, so either way at the bundled price of $49.95 you are getting a deal. I so hope that they offer more of the workout gear and accessories down the road. I am thinking maybe DVD’s, weights, exercise balls, etc.
What do you think of Fabletics? Something you’d check out? New members get 50% off their first outfit (or accessories set) (making it only $25) automatically, so if you are interested in ordering or just want to check out their stuff, click here! Ohhh, and I almost forgot, I am giving away three of the new accessories sets in my giveaway, so make sure you enter!
I actually really like Rodney Yee’s Abs Yoga DVD, and my mother swears by him. I’m usually far too ADD for Yoga, but I’m trying to get more into it for exercise and stress-relief (in the comfort of my own home, so people don’t get angry when I laugh at things like “the deep soft belly of the dunes.”)
I will look into that one!
There is an iPhone app Yoga Studio that I really like. It’s $3.99 which in my mind is a bit expensive, but the classes are prearranged for you based on your level of experience, what you want to focus on (strength, balance. relaxation or flexibility) and how much time you want to spend (15, 30 or 60 min.). With the the right cable from Apple you can supposedly put it up on your TV as well, but I haven’t tried yet.
I have Apple TV. I wonder if I can buy the app from iTunes and it’ll just work on my tv. I need to figure that out….
I’m catching up on blog reading and just signed up for this! I got the Aruba 🙂
I can’t wait to get mine!
