I wasn’t expecting to see this yesterday, but Birchbox has released their July 2014 Sneak Peek video! Well, Part One of two anyway.
The July 2014 Birchbox theme is “Power Up” and features a partnership with Woman’s Health Magazine! The video also discussed the “Birchbox Plus” upgrade option I told you about yesterday AND they gave details on the new customize box option! In July, all members will receive an email with the option to choose between a Ruffian Nail Lacquer (in one of three shades) and Cynthia Rowley Beauty Creamy Lip Stain Sample (in one of two shades). You must subscribe to Birchbox by end of day June 24, 2014 to choose your sample—sample choice only available while supplies last. Umm, how cool is that? I am so picking the nail polish ;).

I just read your post about birchbox. I have searched hi and low my email box and cannot find any email anywhere. Can you tell me how to pick the nail polish or lip gloss for the July box?

I got an e-mail today from them, but it was telling me to choose between the two lipstain colors. It didn’t say anything about nail polish. So maybe you actually get to pick one lipstain and one nail polish color?
Now mind said I could pick between the nail polishes and then at the bottom it talked about the lip stain and said I had already gotten that but that I could pick it again if I wanted it??

OK, I looked at the e-mail again. In really tiny type at the bottom, it says if I prefer a mani-pedi, I can pick a Ruffian nail polish instead. I think in my profile, I might say I prefer lip items to nail polish, so that could be why they sent the e-mail to me that way. It just seems like it would be better to make the choice more clear!
I just got my email today to pick my choice of lip stain, I guess the nail polish is sold out. I am glad that I got to choose my sample lip color since that is the one I wanted.
Check the small print in the bottom. It might have the polish there!
I never received this email, and my box updated without either item in it 🙁 I wanted the Ruffian polish.
