June 2014 Beauty Box 5

My June 2014 Beauty Box 5 was one of a handful of boxes that arrived today.  If you aren’t familiar with them, they are a monthly subscription service that delivers a sample box of all things beauty. Each box contains 4 – 5 samples of a variety of makeup, skin care, fragrances and everything in between!  Boxes are $12/month if you do a month-to-month subscription, however, I subscribed a while back when they had a crazy deal that brought the cost of an annual subscription down to $6.58/month.

Beauty Box 5 ships via DHL Global Mail and took under a week to arrive.

First Look

I hadn’t gotten a chance to check into any spoilers for this month so the first look was a complete surprise.  I was happy with what I saw though!

The Information Card

The June 2014 Beauty Box 5 focused on the following iconic (and easy) hot weather basics:

~Nicka K New York Nail Color ($4.99): I have tried this brand before and like it well enough.  Plus it’s nail polish and I need more nail polish ;).

Nicka K New York Nail Color

~Organix Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner (~$2): I haven’t gotten a chance to try this yet, but I generally like coconut hair stuff.  Plus, it’s a brand new product for me to sample.

~Glam Natural Mascara (~$7): This mascara is designed for those who have sensitive eyes which I appreciate.  I rub my eyes a lot (bad habit) and always always get mascara in my eyes and they get irritated.  So far so good with this.

~Eslor Introductory Collection Calming Kit ($15.43): I have received these in a few boxes here and there and have liked it.  Not loved it, but liked it enough to use it again.

~Vita Bath Body Wash ($1.33): This is the least expensive item in the box, yet it’s totally my favorite.  It smells amazing and I will probably end up buying the full size of this one!

Vita Bath Body Wash

All totaled I came up with a value of $30.75 for the June 2014 Beauty Box 5.  This was probably one of my more recent favorites from them thanks to the body wash and the nail polish.  For the $6 something I pay for this box every month, I feel like it’s well worth it!

Do you subscribe to Beauty Box 5?  What’d you get in your box this month?  I know there are usually some variations, but I am not familiar with the specifics this month.  If you are interested in subscribing or want to check out more, click here and use the coupon code “FREE614” to try your first box free (it will also take $12 off a quarterly or annual subscription).  Offer expires on 6.30.14 and you will be enrolled in the monthly subscription unless you opt to cancel.
