Callibox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box which features small business artisans who hand-make their wares right here in the USA. Each month your box will contain three to five unique handmade finds all fitting into a specially chosen monthly theme.

The Package

Callibox ships via USPS First Class Mail and took under a week to arrive.  Boxes ship between the 3rd and the 5th of every month.

The Box

I thought that the packaging on the Callibox was very cute and I felt bad wrecking it to open it up and check it out!

Look at all that chevron!  We were off to a good start for sure with this box!

The Information Card

The Callibox website indicates that monthly boxes will have a theme, however, I couldn’t quite figure out what the theme was for the June 2014 Callibox.  I am sure once I hear what it is it will make total sense and I’ll wonder why I didn’t figure it out on my own!  Here is what was inside:

~Handmade in Chico Vinyl Card Wallet ($4): Very cute!  You can use it for business cards, your id and credit card or anything you want to keep handy. My wallet and bag in general are always a complete mess so this should help a little.

~Paper Pistol Jewelry Owl Earrings ($5): Super cute and L’s school mascot happens to be an owl so I may just pick up a few more pairs of these for secretary / teacher gifts!

~Purse & Pocket Magnet ($4.25): I believe they do a quote of the month magnet in each box. My fridge isn’t magnetic (which I both love and hate) but I will find a place for this cute magnet!

~Charm Bracelet (~$10): I cannot figure out where this is from (it’s not on the information card) so I guessed at the price. I think I am a little old for it, but I will pass it on to a friend’s daughter who I know will love it.

~KLOdesigns of California Infinity Scarf (~$5): I love the chevron and I love that it’s an infinity scarf, but I wish that the material was a bit different on this one.  It’s a cotton, but I think it would work better with something softer.

Based on my best estimates I came up with a value of $28.25 for the June Callibox.  I liked the variety of items that they included, but I wish all the vendor information would have been included.  I am curious to see what they do in upcoming months with this one!

It looks like the charm bracelet is maybe a custom piece by Paper Pistol Jewelry (same maker as earrings). Their Etsy shop has earrings made with the same exact dragonfly and cupcake charms.

I think this box definitely has potential. All those things for $20? And YAY the chevron! 🙂 I’ll keep an eye on this one to see future boxes..
