June 2014 Citrus Lane (4 Year-Old Boy)

I did a review on WB’s June 2014 Citrus Lane box yesterday (his is for a 2 year-old boy) and today I am back with a review on the other Citrus Lane box we get every month which is for a 4 year-old boy.  Some of the stuff works for L and some of it I just save for when WB gets a little older.

If you aren’t familiar, Citrus Lane is a monthly subscription box for babies from 0 to 5 years old which contains four or more products selected especially for the age and stage of your child. Citrus Lane  is $29/month, but I always always opt for the longer subscription with them because it’s a way better deal.

The Box

Citrus Lane ships via FedEx Smart Post and always takes the standard week to arrive.

First Look

I actually hadn’t peeked at too many spoilers for this age group so I wasn’t overly sure what would be included.  I had a general idea, but I wasn’t for sure.

The Information Card

The June 2014 Citrus Lane box included the following items:

~Wet Bag from Bumkins ($10.95): Just like the Mickey Mouse wet bag we got in WB’s box, we will be taking this one to Disney with us.  They work for wet clothes, towels – pretty much everything!

~Two Sided Puzzles from Crocodile Creek ($8.97): I am going to save this for a future Quiet Time box for when WB is a bit bigger.  These puzzles are challenging because they are two sided!  I actually should see what L thinks of them.  He likes puzzles.

~Puffy Sticker Pad from Melissa & Doug ($4.99): Love this.  I am actually going to try and trade for another one of these so both boys have one.  I know that if I give this to L, WB will freak out and want it and if I give it to WB, L will be annoyed he doesn’t have one.  It’s best to just get another.

~Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion from Weleda ($16.50): I have gotten this lotion in the past (maybe in a CL box for a different age group) and am always happy with it.  I can’t even tell you the last time I had to buy lotion on my own.

~Go Bar from Plum Organics ($2): I have tried these and they are actually quite good!  The boys have had them in the past as well.  I will be picking more up at Target the next time I go.

All totaled I came up with a value of $43.11 for the June 2014 Citrus Lane box for a 4 year-old boy.  I only pay about $17/month for my Citrus Lane boxes (I always subscribe when they have a code) and thought this was a great value!

Did you get a Citrus Lane this month?  What age did you get and what came in your box?  If you are interested in subscribing, click here.   Now through 6/30, you can use the coupon code “TAKE20OFF” to save $20 off your first box!  That would make your first Citrus Lane box $9 which is incredible!!! You will be enrolled in a monthly subscription (which you can always cancel if you are not happy), but it’s totally an amazing way to try them out!  If you have your eye on a longer subscription or if you are a current subscriber and want to renew, check out the deal going on right now on Gilt City (you can read about it here). The 12-month option was sold out yesterday, but it’s back in stock now and is a great deal!
