I ended up picking up FabKids this month after all because curiosity got the best of me on those brightly colored shorts.  I was afraid they would sell out before I got to them next month.

If you aren’t familiar FabKids, which is part of the JustFab / Fabletics family, is a monthly kids clothing subscription service.  Each month you are given the opportunity to select an outfit (all of which are $29.95) for your child which was curated based on your style preferences.  You are free to select one of the outfits or you may “Skip” by the 5th of the month and you will not be charged for that month.

The Package

FabKids ships via FedEx Smart Post.  It took only 3 days for this to arrive to me which I thought was amazing!

Since you are able to select your outfit you know exactly what you are getting, therefore, there is no need for an information card.  However, the package does include a packing slip just for reference.  I opted for the “Rockin Summer Outfit” for my June FabKids, which included the following pieces:

~Radio Vintage Tee: Love the material on this t-shirt!  It’s super soft and isn’t that hard cotton that lots of kid’s tees come in.  I would have totally bought this at the store and frankly I wasn’t expecting it to be this nice!  The shirt was true to size for L (he wears a 5/6) and he approved of it.  A total win for us.

~Red Pull-On Shorts: I think these are more orange than red, but oh well.  L tried them on and was sure they were a bathing suit.  Umm, no. While these fit L, I did think they ran a bit on the small side.  Unless that’s the style of these and I am just not used to seeing L wearing that?  Either way L liked them and I expect he will be adding them into his rotation soon.

Since the pieces are FabKids exclusives I cannot do a cost breakdown on this box!  But at $29.95 for this month I feel like I got my money’s worth for sure.  I also love that you can skip this one in case you just aren’t feeling any of the outfits.  Their outfits tend to be a bit bolder than L and WB dress, so I try and separate the pieces in my mind when I am deciding to go for the outfit or not.

I think all of their clothes run a little small…especially pants. We sized up after our first two orders. But overall, my son really likes their stuff.

I will keep that in mind in the future! Thank you!

The tee looks better on your son than it does on the FabKids “model.” 🙂 Super cute.

      Thanks!

Their boys clothes sell out too quickly and and they only have about 1/8th of the selection for boys that they have for girls. Just be aware that after 3 months or so, you will feel like you have everything you want from their selection and are ready to move elsewhere. Also their short sleeve and shorts selections for boys are particularly lacking. I like the site (don’t get me wrong) but it sucks that they have SO MUCH for girls and it’s just not that way for their boys clothes.
