June 2014 Fancy Food Box

Yay!  My June 2014 Fancy Food Box is here!  I feel like these boxes come earlier and earlier every month and I love it!

Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month (plus shipping), offers a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer the Fancy Food Box you see here, as well as, Fancy Mystery Boxes.

The Box

Fancy Food Box ships via FedEx (as always) and took the usual two days to arrive to me.  This month’s box was super heavy and I had been trying to guess what was in it ever since i got the tracking e-mail that showed the weight of the box.

First Look

Ohh, lots of goodies in this month’s box!  I like when there are more items in the box.  Because then it’s okay if I don’t love them all.

The Information Card

The June 2014 Fancy Food Box includes new takes on BBQ classics, from condiments, to candies, to Shirley Temples.  Here is what this month’s box included:

~Quin Candy Dreams Come Chew ($12): Totally yummy! I tried one and immediately wanted to try every other flavor.  But I will save some for B.

Quin Candy Dreams Come Chew

~Quin Candy Twizzlie Rolls ($6):  Okay I thought those other candies were good.  But these are better. They are chewy chocolates with a hint of sea salt and coffee.  Three things I love all in one candy!

Quin Candy Twizzlie Rolls

~Sir Kensington’s Spicy Brown Mustard ($6.25): This looks just like the mustard I made in the April Homegrown Collective box.  I am not a mustard fan at all, but if B sneaks it in a recipe and doesn’t tell me I will be okay with it.  I am not going to willingly put it on a burger though.  Although I do think brown mustard is better than yellow mustard (this is a blend of both).

Sir Kensington’s Spicy Brown Mustard

~Sir Kensington’s Classic Ketchup ($6.68): B loves this ketchup, but I am more of a plain old Heinz girl! This is made from all-natural ingredients and I think it might just take some getting used too?

Sir Kensington’s Classic Ketchup

~Quince & Apple Tart Cherry Grenadine ($13): This is made from Wisconsin cherries, so I know B will love it just because of that. I can’t wait to use it to make some fun lemonades this weekend!

Quince & Apple Tart Cherry Grenadine

~House of Webster Sweet and Hot Bread & Butter Pickles ($9.32): Just like mustard, I do not like pickles.  It might be the smell? Whatever it is I just don’t love them.  All my boys do though and likes to shop around for ones he’s never tried before so these will work well for him.

House of Webster Bread & Butter Pickles

All totaled, I came up with a value of $53.25 for the June 2014 Fancy Food Box.  While I liked the box and we will use every single item in it, I felt like the value was a little low this month.  Fancy Food Box doesn’t promise a certain value in their boxes, but I still felt like had one more item (maybe an apron for BBQ’ing?) been included it would have been more in line (price wise) with previous Fancy Food boxes.

Did you get Fancy Food Box this month?  What’d you think?  If you are thinking of ordering the Fancy Food Box, cluck here! Fancy Boxes are $39 + $7.95 shipping, but you can always use the coupon code “FOLLOWUP10″ to save 10% on any Fancy.com, order, including subscription boxes.  If you are looking for any of the other Fancy Box boxes (including the Mother’s Day Box or Mystery Boxes), I suggest just doing search for “Fancy Box“. It’s much easier than trying to navigate their site, which I find quite confusing at times.
