Googaro, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box for babies 0-3 years of age. Each month Googaro sends selects mom-approved items for you and your baby straight to your door. You’ll receive some of their favorite finds including toys, books, snacks, and household products.
Googaro ships via DHL Global Mail and took six days to arrive to me. DHL has been pretty speedy lately, but I don’t want to get my hopes up with them too much either.
I hadn’t seen any pictures of the June Googaro box so I was totally spoiler free for this one. The first look was a good one and I hoped that the rest of the items were as good as what I could see on top!
Googaro doesn’t have a monthly theme, but they do have one of the best information cards out there. It’s got pictures and prices and lets you know the age group of the box you received which is nice. I know sometimes there is confusion with some of the other subscription boxes where people wonder if they got the right box or not, but that doesn’t happen here. This box is for 2-3 year olds (boxes are grouped by 0-6 months, 6-12 months, 1-2 years and 2-3 years) and included the following:
~Box Play Bowling Set Sticker ($7): These stickers are designed to help kids repurpose old cardboard tubes into fun toys to play with. They have different stickers for just about every kind of box, tube, etc. you could think of. I suppose kids could just color on the tubes on their own, but I think having a few stickers would provide them with some ideas on what they could turn them into. The set had 3 bowling pin stickers, so we are going to save 10 paper towel rolls (which shouldn’t take too long at all considering how quickly I use up paper towel), put the stickers on 3 of them and then color the other 7 into bowling pins ourselves!
~Noodlehead Travel Pillow ($14.50): I think this is totally adorable. WB always likes to have something to snuggle with in the car so this can serve two purposes for him!
~Medibuddy First-Aid Kit ($5.25): When I did a little organizing of my subscription box stash I realized I had quite a few of these in my stockpile. I do not mind one bit though since we go through so many bandaids here. So many. At least 2-3 day. At least.
~The Big Honey Hunt Book ($8.99): OMG I love Berenstain Bears books! I used to read them when I was a kid and I always try to steer L towards them when we pick out a book to read. Papa Bear is always getting into trouble and not listening which cracks us up because L’s Papa (my Dad) likes to do the same kind of things!
~Happy Family Organic Rice Cakes ($3.99): We haven’t had these in a while, but WB has always liked the in the past.
All totaled I came up with a value of $39.73 for the June 2014 Googaro 2-3 Year-Old Box. I was really pleased with this one and liked that they had a few brands I already know and love, but also a few brands that I have never heard of before. And that book made me happy before I even opened it up and read it.

I love the Bernstein Bears. N used to like to watch the tv show I might need to see if C would like them. They are always so funny.
I need to find the show somewhere for L! I wonder if Netflix has it??
Not sure about netflix but I see that they have some on spotonline http://www.sproutonline.com/show/berenstain-bears/list/videos
It comes on, on the ‘Sprout Channel’ later in the evening so if he has a bedtime, you might want to record it.
Oh we don’t even have cable. LOL! I think Sprout might be on Hulu though??
I love Googaro…but this box seemed…lacking to me.
Usually, I get pretty excited about what they have to offer…
Did you get the same age?
I bought a plum district deal for Googaro for next month. Seeing this makes me very nervous. I’m not in love with this box at all. It just doesn’t seem fun for a 2-3 year old which is our age group. Sometimes I feel like these companies forget that 2-3 is still very young. They need toys as well as function.
I hope you like next month more!
This is on plum district for $20 for a box
