My June 2014 Love With Food box arrived yesterday and I got right to work testing out our new snacks.
If you aren’t familiar, Love With Food box members receive a curated box filled with 8+ unique gourmet food items. Each box brings new delights, with bites that vary based on seasonal themes. In addition, Love With Food donates a meal (I actually think this month was two meals) to a child in need with each box purchased, which you can read more about here.
Love With Food ships via DHL Global Mail. I believe this box took just shy of a week to arrive to me which is about normal for it.
I knew I had seen some spoilers for this box (I know this because I posted about them), but I could not for the life of me remember what they were. But when I opened up the box it all came back to me!
The June 2014 Love With Food theme was “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” and included the following healthy snacks which were sure to be a home run:
~Pineapple, Raspberry and Mango Fruit Snacks by YumEarth Organics: I can’t recall where we have gotten these before, but I know that L always enjoys them.
~Gum Balls by Tree Hugger Gum: I don’t love gum, but L does and thinks it’s so awesome when I let him have some. I’ll be saving this one for him.
~Cheddar Baked Fries by Snikiddy: These are amazing. They don’t really remind me of baseball games, but I do love them. They are almost like skinny Cheetos, but better.
~Snap Back by The Cookie Department: I am a huge fan of The Cookie Department cookies and while this isn’t (in my opinion anyway), the best one they make, I still liked it. My favorite is the “Awaken Baked” one – probably because it’s caffeinated.
~Chicago Mix by G.H. Cretors: This has both caramel popcorn and cheddar popcorn mixed in one bag. Such a smart idea! I love the flavor combination and you don’t get sick of either flavor before the bag is done!
~Montmoremcy Cherries by Stoneridge Orchards: I am saving these for L’s next muffin tin meal. I try to mix up what I put in there and these will be a fun treat for him since he’s never had them before.
~Good for You Granola, Almond Butter & Jelly Sandwich by Jolly Oak: I didn’t love this or hate this. It was just okay and I probably should have saved it for B when he gets home because it’s something he would have enjoyed more than me.
~Chocolate Cookies by Dolcetto: Delicious! Not sure what could be wrong with something that has a chocolate filling and let me tell you there is nothing wrong with these. And the best part is that the bags are only 100 calories each! Perfect!
I thought this month’s Love With Food box was a great one and there are a few snacks from this month that I will be picking up more of (the Chocolate Cookies and Cheddar Baked Fries being two of them) for sure!

Ohh, I wasn’t sure if they were still going that! Thank you fro the update!
I am getting my first love with food box next month. I wish I had ordered sooner to get this box. I saw some of the food on a spoiler post. It all looks so yummy! I love that they have such a variety of snacks.
This was a fun one. I am always amazed at what they can pack in those little boxes.
I’ve had the chicago mix popcorn before and it is soo good! *Almost* as good as Garrett’s in Chicago
I will need to try that!
That Chicago mix is my favorite snack/treat EVER.
SO GOOD!
Did you think that the baked fries actually tasted cheesy? We’re big cheese nuts in our family living here in Wisconsin and to me, they tasted like Funyuns. My son couldn’t stand them. I enjoyed them, but I don’t plan on buying them. Now that popcorn on the other hand?. mmm!
I didn’t think they were overly cheesy, but I could taste the cheese. I think I was expecting more like potato sticks, so these for sure had a different flavor.
