It’s been a fun few days with subscription boxes and the first one (I am expecting more) to arrive today was my Snoop Dogg Fancy Box.
Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month plus shipping, has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Jennifer Love Hewitt, Verbal, Kelly Rowland, Coco Rocha, Snoop Dogg, T-Pain, Nicky Hilton and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites), as well as, Fancy Mystery Boxes.
Fancy Box ships via FedEx Home and always takes two days to arrive. The best part about FedEx Home is that they deliver on Saturdays so you aren’t stuck waiting on your package until Monday.
Loved this first look! I wasn’t expecting to see a dog in my box, so it was a fun surprise.
There was no stated theme was to the June 2014 Snoop Dogg Fancy Box, but all of his boxes revolve around the same, umm, theme, so there isn’t really a need to state it ;). Here’s what was inside:
~Snoop Dogg G Pen Travel Kit ($79.95): I have no idea what this is. It mentions filling it up with your favorite oils, but I am guessing it’s not quite the same thing I would use essential oils for?
~Snoop Doggy Pillow ($20): This one made me laugh. WB just thinks it’s a doggy pillow and loves it.
~Snoop Dogg King Size Papers ($1): These are different than the picture on the information card and are actually exactly the same item we got last month. B’s friend will like them just as much this time as he did last time, so it’s fine.
~Snoop Lighter ($2): Not much really to say about a lighter. B uses when he smokes cigars and I light a lot of candles, but I usually use stick lighter because it’s safer (for me).
All totaled I came up with a value of $102.95 for the June 2014 Snoop Dogg Fancy Box. In all fairness it’s about what I expected from a Snoop Dogg box, but I think it’s time Snoop and I part ways since we clearly have opposite lifestyles. LOL! It’s been a fun three months though! On to the Nicky Hilton box!
