Dottiebox, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a monthly subscription box full of high quality handmade items for women, from both small businesses and indie brands. They offer their standard Dottiebox which is $26/month and a Dottiebox Mini subscription, which is $13/month. I did a review on the June Dottiebox here and now it’s time for the Dottiebox Mini review.
Dottiebox ships via USPS and never takes too long to arrive to me.
Dottiebox and Dottiebox Mini often have some of the same brands in them each month, but never really have exactly the same items. I really really enjoyed the full sized Dottiebox this month, so I was hoping the Mini was equally amazing.
The June Dottiebox Mini didn’t have a stated theme, but it felt very summery / beachy to me. Here is what was included:
~Old Whaling Company Roll On Perfume ($10): This smells amazing! I used to not like roll-ons for whatever reason, but in the past few years I have really come to love them. They travel well and are really easy to throw in your bag and you can reapply quickly. Also, you can switch up your scents often because you use these up faster! I don’t currently see this offered in the shop’s etsy store, but I am going to keep my eyes open because I would love to see what other perfume scents they offer.
~Suny Island Blu Lotion (Island Chic) ($4.50): We got a sea salt spray in the full-sized Dottiebox from this line which is awesome and this lotion is great as well! Not only does it smell good, but it moisturizes well and doesn’t leave your hands all greasy.
All totaled I came up with a value of $14.50 for the June Dottiebox Mini box. Just like with the full sized June Dottiebox, I thought this was a fabulous month. It was very me and I would have easily bought these items on their own. Except I wouldn’t have known about them without Dottiebox.
