A few Birchbox things to discuss:

Today is the last day to add a Birchbox Plus item to your July box! It looks like the  Triple C Power Card Ultra Thin Battery is already sold out, but you can still snag the Beauty Protector Protect & Refresh Dry Shampoo ($18) and/or the Coloud Pop Headphones ($13).  The items are usually about 20% off or so and they ship free with your box.

Reviews: Okay, so if you subscribe to Birchbox I am guessing (hoping) you already know about reviewing your products for points.  But if you don’t know or if you are a new subscriber, you’ll want to check this out.  Birchbox gives you 10 points for every product you receive in your Birchbox and do a review on.  10 points is equal to $1 to spend in the Birchbox shop. So if you get 5 products in your box (which is about average) and do your reviews, you’ve got $5 to spend in the shop!  You do need to wait until you have at least 100 points (aka $10) to redeem them, but points accumulate and you can stack them with a coupon code and use them on a limited edition box or whatever you want!  To review products all you need to do is this:
~Log into your account and select “Box” from the top menu bar and then “Women’s Box” (or Men’s if that’s the subscription you have) from the drop-down menu.
~You can either scroll down to “Box History” and click on the individual products you have received or you can do it in the top area where your current box is shown.
~One you get to the individual product pages you’ll click on “Write A Review” and it will take you to a little questionnaire to complete.  Once you are done with it, click submit and you’ve earned your 10 points!
~Repeat for all of the items in your box!
Now, you can ONLY do reviews for a limited amount of time your box is posted on the 10th of the month.  I think it’s 30 days or when the next month’s box posts, but don’t quote me on that.  Someone will know and I’ll update.  Just make sure to remember to do your reviews after you get your stuff and try it all out and you’ll be fine!  The point system is one of the best things about Birchbox in my opinion!  Do not miss scoring those points!

Anniversary Codes:  I feel like we should also discuss anniversary codes since sometimes they don’t always come in your e-mail and I am guessing not everyone knows about them.  Well at least they don’t always come in mine (or if they do I delete them on accident).  Birchbox sends out promotion codes (usually between 20% – 25% off) on your “anniversary” with them.  You get a code after being with them for 3-months (3months20), 6 months (6months20) and so on.  You can check out all the codes here.  They ONLY work when you have been with Birchbox that long, so if you are trying to use the 40 month code and you’ve only been a subscriber for 15 months, it’s not going to work.  Make sure to take advantage of these though!
