Yay! B’s Father’s Day Fancy Box arrived yesterday! Fancy offered Limited Edition Father’s Day boxes in three sizes this year. Small ($19), Medium ($39) and Large ($79). Back when I ordered this box the contents were unknown, however, they have now released the contents of each of the boxes which you can see here.
The Fancy Father’s Day Box, like all other Fancy boxes, ship via FedEx. Fancy Box has indicated that orders placed by June 8th will be delivered by Father’s Day.
I say it all the time, but I wish Fancy would use assorted box sizes for their Fancy Boxes. Nine times out of ten, my box is half packing materials!
There wasn’t a card with product information for the Father’s Day Fancy Box, however, it did have this cute fist bump picture. On the reserve it gave the name of the box, so if you sent this as a gift, your recipient would know it was for Father’s Day. I opted for the Large Father’s Day box which included the following:
~Etiquette Clothiers Striped Socks ($24): These socks are so soft. I wouldn’t mind stealing them as my own! B will love these and I love love love that he wears patterned socks instead of just an assortment of black and brown socks because it makes it so much easier to sort them.
~CrossLink Cable by id America ($18): This is awesome. Somehow I missed that this was included in the box when I saw the contents. We have an assortment of electronics all requiring different cords and this is going to come in so handy for traveling. So smart!
~Fancy-Exclusive Power Grid by Tego ($60): I received one of these in a Fancy Box last year and it’s incredible. It has saved me many times. B does try to steal it every now and then (he has a power charger but it’s not as cool as this) and I know he’s going to love having his own.
~Awkward Family Photos Book ($12): I would never buy this on my own, but it’s super funny to flip though. You have to wonder what people were thinking??
~Sasquatch Pine Tar Soap ($6): This soap is strong! Every time I go near the box I get a whiff of it! I know B has used this brand of soap before but I am not totally sure about the scent.
~Maps Rocks Glass ($13): We actually have this from a previous Fancy Box, so now we have a set! These will make a great addition to B’s basement bar – whenever that ends up happening.
~Tablet Case by Gentlemen’s Hardware ($50): I think this is very stylish and will work with B’s iPad, however, I am not totally sure he will use it. He has his iPad in a case already and I don’t know that I see him putting it in another case to travel. I suppose you never know though.
All totaled I came up with a value of $183 for the (Large) Father’s Day Fancy Box. The box itself was $79 plus shipping, so the value was totally there. Between the power grid and the cord I think the box paid for itself! The rest was just a bonus after that really because I would have bought hose on my own I am sure.
