Elizabeth & Clarke, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a quarterly subscription box which brings designer-quality blouses and tees to your door each season. Shirts are a mix of blouses, tees and work appropriate tops in neutral colors – while, black, off-white and grey.
Elizabeth & Clarke ships via DHL Global Mail and took about 10 days to arrive to me. E&C is in North Carolina and I am in Michigan. Sometimes DHL surprises me and is so quick, but this was not one of those times.
I don’t know what was up with my camera yesterday (actually what was up with my horrible pictures) so you really can’t see it in the picture, but I was loving that shirt on top right away!
Each season Elizabeth & Clarke allows subscribers to select which shirt(s) they want to receive based on the current selections. Here are the three I received:
~The Hart: Love this shirt! It’s a plain (in a totally good way) long black v-neck. It’s pretty much everything I want in a t-shirt. It’s soft and stretchy and just fabulous. I hope they offer this in grey and white in future seasons because this is awesome.
~The Truman: The Truman is something I wouldn’t wear on it’s own (although the model looks fabulous in it), but rather under a blazer or suit coat. I rarely wore suits to work, but I was always digging for something to wear under it when I did and this would have worked nicely.
~The Orton: I really hope you can see the detail on this one in the picture. The back of the collar has a slit in it, which I have never seen before. I don’t personally know what I would wear it with, but the model looks amazing in this with a pencil skirt.
As usual, I cannot do a price price breakdown on this since the shirts are Elizabeth & Clarke branded. If you opt for the 3/shirts per season it breaks down to $20/shirt which is more than reasonable. In addition, if you are not 100% happy, return shipping is free (if you are located in the United States).
