July 2014 GLOSSYBOX
July 2014 GLOSSYBOX

Not only did my mail come early today (it got here before noon actually which is crazy), it included my July 2014 GLOSSYBOX!

If you aren’t familiar with GLOSSYBOX, they are $21/month and send you five luxury surprise beauty items to your door every month. I LOVE GLOSSYBOX and am constantly impressed at the value they pack into the boxes. They also do the best collaborations. They did a collaboration with Bergdorf Goodman a few months ago and they have also done collaborations with Dallas Shaw, The Man Repeller and Bydrie in the past just to name a few!

The Box

GLOSSYBOX ships via USPS and took about 4 days to arrive.  Not too bad at all.  GLOSSYBOX tend to ship towards the end of the month so I actually thought this arrived early!

The GLOSSYBOX

July was back to normal with the actual GLOSSYBOX boxes.  May was the collaboration with Bergdorf and June was the special 4th of July / America box, but July was the regular old GLOSSYBOX box.

I always love GLOSSYBOX’s packaging and how everything is wrapped and tied so nicely.

The Information Card

The July 2014 GLOSSYBOX box doesn’t have a theme, but it contained the following items:

~Mitchell and Peach Body Cream ($13.33): I wonder how many people (other than myself) think this brand is going to smell like peaches when they try it?  LOL!  It never does, but I always always except it.  I like the cream a lot though.  It’s not as thick as I would have imagined, but it moisturizes very nicely.

~GlamGlow YouthMud Tinglexfoliate Treatment ($19): I love GlamGlow.  I don’t think I am alone in this at all.  It’s described as a “facial in a jar” and I think it works wonders.  You leave it on for 10 minutes and your skin looks and feels amazing.  I’ve been lucky to get lots of samples in subscriptions boxes of this, but I know that I will eventually need to buy the full sized one.

~Skin Inc Custom-Blended Anti-Aging Serum ($45): GLOSSYBOX sent me the GlamGlow and this to try earlier in the month and I have been using it ever since.  My skin feels so nice and I don’t know if I look younger from using it, but my skin for sure feels better.

Skin Inc Custom-Blended Anti-Aging Serum

~Philip B. pH Restorative Detangling Toning Mist ($10): This actually came in the Dallas Shaw GLOSSYBOX last summer and I really liked it. It’s not heavy and leaves your hair smooth and shiny!

~Malin + Goetz Mojito Lip Balm ($12): Eeek!  Love!  When I saw the brand list for this month’s GLOSSYBOX, I was so hoping that it would include the mojito lip balm and here it is!  Totally love and I will be trading for more of this asap!

All totaled I came up with a value of $99.33 for the July 2014 GLOSSYBOX!  The box itself is $21/month (although I pay like $17.85/month because I used a coupon when I signed up) and I am beyond happy.  I thought this was a fabulous month and feel like it could be a “best of” GLOSSYBOX box.  It has so many great items I’d have a heard time picking a favorite from here!

Are you getting a GLOSSYBOX this month?  What do you think?  If are you are interested in subscribing to just want to learn more, click here.  GLOSSYBOX is $21/month and now through 7/23 (aka tomorrow) new subscribers can use the code “SUMMER14” to get 20% off your GLOSSYBOX subscription!
