iBbeautiful, who sent me this box to review, offers an innovative way for tween + teens girls to explore, sample + fall in love with inspiring beauty, accessory + lifestyle products (each box contains 3-5 items) – in the comfort of their own homes – through a monthly box subscription service. iBbeautiful aims to inspire girls to be their best with their natural beauty, which is a great thing for sure.
iBbeautiful ships via USPS Priority Mail. Orders before the 15th of the month will receive a box for that month. Orders after the 15th will be shipping the following month. All boxes are shipped towards the end of the month.
The first look was very bright! I opened the box yesterday morning when the sun was shining in, so my picture isn’t all that great!
The July 2014 iBbeautiful box theme was “25 Acts of Kindness” and was all about challenging subscribers to complete 25 random acts of kindness this month. iBbeautiful is going to post daily suggestions on their Facebook this month and is asking subscribers to post their acts as well. On July 30th, they will pick a winner and will send them to the movies! Totally love this idea and I am going to try and do it myself.
Here is what was included in the July 2014 iBbeautiful box:
~Sun Basil Garden Scrub ($4): I am totally cracking up because I thought this was Sun Basil scented and was like what in the world?? No, it’s “Yuzu Yum” scented, which to me smells like citrus. Oranges to be exact. What it’s really supposed to smell like I am not sure, but I think it’s great!
~“I Am” Hair Ties ($2.50): Super cute. I love these ties and think they are super cute. However, I tend to find that my hair gets all snarled in these. Does anyone have this issue? How do you fix it?
~MAC Lip Glass ($12.50): I haven’t purchased a MAC Lip Glass in ages, but I always loved them so I am excited about this! And I know if I was a tween and got a MAC product in the mail I would have been thrilled.
~Summer Blossom Necklace ($18): I love the flower on this one. They seriously look make it look real. I will be passing on it to a friend’s daughter who I know will love it!
~Post It Notebook ($5): Like the information card says, these are too cute! You can you them to help plan your 25 Acts of Kindness this month or you can write cute notes to your friends on them. Or you can use them in your Erin Condren planner!
~“Be you tiful” Tank ($10): I think this is my favorite tank I have ever received from them. It’s bright and fun and has a simple, but very meaningful message.
All totaled I came up with a value of $52 for the July 2014 iBbeautiful box! That’s nearly double the $29.95 cost of the box and I thought this month was a great one! Everything is always cute and totally age appropriate. And I love the 25 Acts of Kindness from this month too!

I keep wanting to try this box out for my 12yo. But feel I *need* some kind of discount code first. 😉 Do they ever have deals??
I haven’t seen one!
Every box I’ve seen you review from this company is really nice. Wish I had a daughter I could pretend to get it for, and then steal all the stuff I like from the top heh heh. Oh and I have the same problem as you do with those hair ties – is your hair fine? Mine is, I can only wear certain types of hair ties and as cute as I think those are, I usually re-gift when I get them to my friends with hair that is more coarse.
It’s not like super fine, but I’d call it thin. LOL! But it gets stuck and these and drives me nuts.
