Yay!  My long anticipated July 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box is finally here!  I signed up for this one as soon as I heard about it and I have been dying to see what’s in it ever since!

Just in case you aren’t familiar, Fancy, which is $39/month (plus shipping), has a “regular” Fancy Box full of cool goodies and celebrity curated boxes which include a collection of the coolest products hand-picked by Nicky Hilton (which is their latest celebrity collaboration) Jennifer Love HewittVerbalKelly RowlandCoco RochaSnoop DoggT-Pain and / or Tyler Florence. They also offer a Fancy Food Box (which is one of my favorites), as well as, Fancy Mystery Boxes.

Fancy ships via FedEx and always takes two days to arrive. I have been super anxious for this one to arrive so I was very excited when I got the shipping notification on Monday!

First Look

Ohhh, so far so good! I loved everything that I could see in the first look and was really excited to dig in and check everything out in detail.

First Look

Per an e-mail from Fancy Box yesterday, there was an error when the information cards were printed and instead of saying Nicky Hilton Fancy Box on the front of it, it says Verbal Fancy Box. Based on the first look alone I could tell that this wasn’t a Verbal Fancy Box so I am sure it was simply an error and we didn’t really get Verbal Fancy Boxes. Anyway, here is what was included in the July 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box:

~Gold Heart Necklace by Lumo ($35): First of all, let me first mention that this necklace also came super tangled and it took me like 20 minutes to untangle.  Ugh.  But it is a super ute necklace. The chain is a little short so I may swap it or gift it to a friend with a daughter, but I do really like the chunky little heart!

~Classic Book Journal ($10): If I use this in public, will people actually believe I am reading and taking notes in the real book? LOL! I’d like to think so. I love notebooks and use them all the time. I make lists, write down subscription boxes and coupon codes I have heard about, etc.

~NCLA “I Only Fly Private” Nail Lacquer ($16): I actually received this color in a Wantable box, but I loved it.  I may try and experiment mixing colors with this one.  Has anyone ever mixed polish colors? What’s going to happen?  Is it just like mixing paint?  Because there are some colors I would love to combine.  I was thinking this and a red to make for a deeper coral??

~Gardenia + Tuberose Mini Jar Candle ($10): How cute is this?  Not only is that little jar adorable, but it also smells amazing!  Love it!

~Pumped Up Phone Stand ($10): Umm, this is incredible.  How awesome is this going to be on my desk with all my other mini shoes?  Are mini decorative shoes like a trend now? I hope so.  This is awesome!

All totaled I came up with a value of $81 for the July 2014 Nicky Hilton Fancy Box and I have to tell you, I loved it!  I think this might rank up there as one of my most favorite Fancy Boxes ever.  I am going to let one of my other Fancy Box subscriptions go (not sure which one yet) and I am going to keep this one!  Love it!

Did you get the July Nicky Hilton Fancy Box?  What’d you think?  Did you like it as much as I did? If you are thinking of ordering this or ANY of the Fancy Boxes, click here and get on it! You can always use the coupon code “FOLLOWUP10″ (sometimes this works, sometimes not) to save 10% on any Fancy.com, order, including subscription boxes. If you can’t find the Fancy Box you are looking for, I suggest just doing search for “Fancy Box“. It’s much easier than trying to navigate their site and you’ll be able to find all the fancy boxes there, as well as, the Mystery Boxes.

Just wanted to say, Target has a set of two necklace extenders for $10, in case you really wanted to keep this one! It looks just like one of my favorite necklaces, except mine is rose gold (plated.)

    1. Jennifer

Ohh, they do? I need to check that out!

such a cute box. Too bad the necklace is too small 🙁 The shoe stand is AWESOME back when I was working I had a shoe phone stand that lite up when my phone rang. It was hot pink and had lots of lights that twinkled on it. I always thought of it as my little rebellion in the world of men I worked around.

Perhaps my neck is just too fat??

Your little phone stand sounds great! Love the rebellion!

Yes, I love the box. I tried out a lot of boxes in the past few months. I am going to make a list and decide which ones to keep. I am wearing the necklace which arrived untangled 🙂 I wasn’t sure about it until I tried it on. The phone stand is perfect for my cell phone. Can’t wait to try out the new nail polish and candle. I found the journal to be an interesting choice since she seems to be in the press less often than her sister. Plus it must be upsetting to have the wrong cover on the insert of a debut box.

The other thing I like is that the majority of items were sourced in the USA. The necklace and nail polish were made in CA. The candle was handpour in the USA. The cover of the book is a classic American novel.

I wonder if her book will be in the next box. It comes on Sept 2 so a little late for September shipping and a little early for August shipping.

    1. Jennifer

Does it say somewhere that it ships on Sept. 2?

      1. PA Anna

Sorry for the confusion. Her book is released on September 2.
