PäshBox, who kindly sent me this package to review, previously offered boxes of on-trend scarves for $22 a month and / or sunglass boxes for $9/month, delivered directly to your doorstep. As of today they are no longer offering monthly subscription boxes and will be offering quarterly boxes, named “Style Quarterly by PäshBox” which will include fashion accessories and beauty items. I believe the first Quarterly box will ship in september and the last of the Scarf /Sunglass Boxes will ship in August. This review is on their previous Scarf and Sunglass Boxes (not the Combo box).
PäshBox ships via USPS Priority Mail. I received the box you see above, as well, as a smaller box which contained only sunglasses.
I loved everything about both of these first looks. The scarf patterns looked great and, while I couldn’t see the actual sunglasses, I liked the patterns that I saw on the cases!
Neither the July Scarf or Sunglasses PäshBox had a theme, however, the following items were included:
Scarf Box
~Infinity Scarf #1: I don’t have anything like this scarf and, for that reason alone, I really like it. The print is great and the colors are even better.
~Infinity Scarf #2: I like the colors on this scarf and I like the pattern, but there’s something about it that makes me not love it. I don’t know what it is and it’s odd because on paper this is a scarf I would buy in a second, but in person I just don’t know.
~Extras: PäshBox always includes a few little extras which I love. This month they had a facial mask and a pack of Skinny Cow chocolates. I didn’t even know that Skinny Cow sold these!
Sunglasses Box
~Sunglasses #1: I opened the bag expecting to love these (because I loved the case), but I don’t love these. I think it’s the opening on the bridge of them? I will probably end up wearing them though because, believe it or not, there are times when I cannot find a pair of sunglasses in my house. Seriously.
~Sunglasses #2: At first I wasn’t really thrilled with this pair either, but they are growing on me. They are big (I like big sunglasses) and I like the frames. I thought that the sunglass box would just have one pair, so this second pair was like a surprise bonus.
I couldn’t find any brands on the scarves or sunglasses so I couldn’t do a cost breakdown on the July 2014 PäshBox. But it breaks down to $11/scarf and $4.50/sunglasses, which I don’t think is unreasonable at all! I am SUPER curious to see what the changes will entail and what will be included in the quarterly boxes!
