Pennie Post, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly stationary subscription service. Each month you will receive at least 3 stationary items. Commonly used cards such as thank you notes and birthday cards will be included more commonly than other greetings. Seasonal cards such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and holiday may also be included during appropriate months.
Pennie Post ships via USPS and took about a week to arrive to me.
The July 2014 Pennie Post theme was “Farmers Market” and contained the following items:
~Rad Birthday Card: Totally cracked up when I saw this! I love it! Get it, rad? Raddish. LOL!
~Mon Petit Chou Card: I had to google this because I was like my little cabbage? What? But it turns out that “mon petit chou” is really a term of endearment! You can read more about that here.
~Grapefruit, Avocado and Strawberry Postcard Set: Totally love. I am going to send these to L so that he can practice his reading. He loves getting his own mail and maybe I will somehow work these into a little scavenger hunt for him.
Since these cards are designed specifically for Pennie Post, I didn’t do a cost breakdown on them. The subscription itself is $11/month, which works out to about $2.20/item. I thought that was beyond reasonable. These cards are very high quality and are printed on gorgeous papers.
