The Box

Q Box ships from Canada and, in general, takes about a week to arrive.  I am always impressed when I get something from another country more quickly than something  that is just going between states!

I always forget what the spoilers are for the boxes so every time I open a Q Box it’s a total surprise!  This month’s first look was very bright!

July 2014 Q Box
The Information Card

The July 2014 Q Box doesn’t have a theme (they typically don’t), but it included the following items:

~Dolly Cat Eyeliner ($10):  Does anyone else find that their hand just isn’t steady enough for liquid eyeliner?  I don’t wear eyeliner much (I wear it as often as I drink tea really), but the times I have tried to apply liquid eyeliner it’s just been a mess.

~AZUL Double Pearl Cuff Bangle ($20): Simple, yet still very cute!  You can add it to any stack or just wear it alone!

~Rilakkuma Chopsticks and Storage Case Set ($7.50): I am super excited about these.  I still need to learn how to use chopsticks (B knows though), but these might make actually inspire me to try harder.  They are very cute and I love that they have a storage case.

~Half Yearly Planner ($2.50): I have my EC planner, so I will probably end up passing this along to someone.  I think it would work great for someone younger – maybe in middle school?

~TonyMoly CatChu Wink Lipstick ($10): I so cannot wait to see what my sister-in-law hints of this!  She’s an attorney and I hope she brings her new cat lipstick to court.  LOL!  How funny would that me.  I think think this company just does cat lipsticks, but I think they should do all the animals.  Dogs, cats, chickens, etc.  How cute would that be??

~Repetto Ribbon Tote Bag ($22): I am not familiar with this brand, but I like the bright yellow tote!  There is seriously no way I will ever misplace this.  No way.  I should carry it everywhere and keep my phone in it because I am constantly losing that.  Actually I should use this as a storage bag for all the things I always use.  Earphones, hair ties, etc.

All totaled I came up with a value of $72 for the July 2014 Q Box.  As usual I used prices from the Q Box card because it’s hard to find most of this stuff for sale online and if I can, it’s generally quite expensive!

The August Q Box is already sold out (they go quick), but if you are interested in signing up for September or just want to learn more, click here.  And don’t forget to use the code “ENJOY1ST” to save 10% off your first box (I think this code still works)!

I got this for the first time this month, and loved it! My cat lipstick is a really awful color for me, but I’m keeping it around just because its case is so cute… (I think I’m a hoarder.) My tote bag is denim blue color, I love it!

      I too am a hoarder!

I find those pen style liquid liners are a lot easier than the wands. I prefer the gel that you put on with a stiff brush though. I feel like I have a lot more control.

And…… am I the only one who thought that cat lipstick was a… um… “special adult toy” at first? I think the shape + the “wink” in the name got me.

Ha! I didn’t know if it was just me or not so I didn’t want to say anything…..

When I first scrolled down, I totally thought that lipstick was something more…personal!

I am cracking up. I thought the same…

Random but I’m not a fan of plastic chopsticks. They are slippery and make using them harder. I think the disposable wooden ones are easier to use. I love chopsticks and use them as often as possible so I got some of the plastic ones and wasn’t a huge fan. Funny but N is also pretty good and C is learning where as M just stabs things if I give him chopsticks. He has no patience.
Uhm the cat lipgloss looks like a female pocket toy. LOL That was my first thought when I saw it. My mind is in the gutter today I guess :/

Mine is too. I thought the same but didn’t want to post it in case I was the only one thinking that way!

    Great blog!
Sorry to be the one to tell you this so late but a lot of the stuff you received is fake!!

The “dolly cat” eyeliner is a chinese copy of a real japanese brand called “dolly wink” and the Tony moly cat lipstick is supposed to be in a black case and only comes In 6 shades. These fakes are worth about 1.50 each and can be found in china towns.
I would be very careful ordering from this company in the future as they played these off as real items when they are definitely not from these companies.

I am actually wondering if anything in this box is real at all or if they just found random stuff to put together all from china.

To me this shows they either barely did any research about the products they’re giving out OR they purposely sought out these copies to up the “price value” they can claim the box has.
