Spicy Subscriptions, who sent me this box to review, is an “Adult” box that contains Romantic Gifts and an assortment of Intimate Toys, Massage Oils, Sexy Lingerie, Romantic Fragrances and much more! They now offer three boxes: Toy of the Month ($19.95), The Spice Box ($29.95) and The Spice Box Deluxe ($34.95).
I review all sorts of boxes and I know that this kind of box may not be some people’s cup of tea, so like I do with all my **Adult** reviews, I am going to spoiler from here on out. Click at your own risk ;).

I forgot to take a picture of the outer packaging on this box, but you can rest assured that it is very discreet and you’d never know what it was unless you are the one that ordered it. It’s comes in a plain USPS envelope with “SS, Inc” as the return address.
The July 2014 SpicySubscriptions theme was “Dress Down” and included the following items:
~Pipedream Products – Neon Finger Fun Vibe ($14): This can be used alone or “with a friend” and is also waterproof. This reminds me of a certain bumpy character from a kids tv show. I probably won’t be looking at that show the same way anymore!
~Screaming O – Mascara Vibe ($13.99): Well who would have guess it’s not really mascara! No joke, the “tip” actually looks like a mascara wand too! I wouldn’t want to have to try and explain this at an airport, but if it happened to fall out of your purse somewhere, you’d be okay.
~Neon Luv Ties ($10.17): Very 50 Shades of Grey, except these are bright orange. All this neon this month reminds me of the 80’s! Oh and speaking of 50 Shades, have you seen the trailer? Thoughts?
~Spicy Handcuffs ($7.99): If I had my way with these I would probably handcuff B to a Target cart and make him spend hours in there with me. Shopping. LOL! I am guessing you could probably pick the little lock on these if you lost the key, but they make me quite nervous because I know I lose them. I give these to a friend!
~Bonus Item – Marble Vibe: Each month if you do a video review you can submit it to SpicySubscriptions and you’ll get a free product in your next box! It can be totally anonymous so no worries! I am guessing that is what this product was for since it’s not on the card.
~Samples: Every month you’ll also receive a variety of samples. Some months you get more than others, but it all evens out eventually.

Totally a cute box but that mascara one just looks interesting. LOL Not sure that is one to use but it is pretty discreet 😉
Oh and 50shades trailer I was impressed. He definitely does the jeans justice. WOW I can’t wait for the movie now.

I think there’s some kind of law in this state against shops selling sex toys, sexually themed lingerie ( YKWIM), etc. We also cannot order wine by internet. It’s irritating.

Spicy subscriptions has some of the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with.
What happened??
They sent me my first box with a discount code because I am a reviewer. For my second month, July, I knew I was about to move into my new house so I emailed them my new address on June 30th. I never heard back from them. Although I did an address forwarding, the box still got sent to the old address and those tenants kept the box (super awkward, right?). I contacted them about a replacement box and I was also irritated because they didn’t change my address like I asked. This email ALSO went unreplied. I contacted them on the 22nd because I didn’t want to get charged again on the 23rd for August when I haven’t gotten my July box. Of course it went unreplied. I finally got an email back from the FIRST email I sent weeks ago, but the other ones are unanswered. The charged my account anyways.
I am so mad about it. I just want to cancel and get my money refunded at this point.
Like you, I review a ton of boxes every month. I do not have the time or the money for bad customer service. That is the quickest way to lose me as a customer.
I would have been annoyed too! I generally dislike having to call or e-mail to cancel.I want to just be able to do it online.
The 50 shades trailer was pretty steamy. I absolutely hated the book but will see the movie, if only to see more of Jamie Dornan. When I mean more I mean him with less clothes on…lol.

Hey there! So I was charged and received 2 boxes this month from SS. I obviously don’t need them both, so I never opened the second one I got. I paid $34.95 (Deluxe Box) and was hoping I could sell it. I would even take less ($25?). Anything to get some of the money back would be great. Any suggestions? I’m already trying on My Subscription Addiction’s swap page.
