This week I am saying So What If….
~I want to go on the next Kardashian / Jenner vacation. Those people know how to vacation!
~I can’t help but laugh when WB gets out of his big boy bed and skips into the hall like it’s party time!
~Every time I go to IKEA it requires an additional trip to pick up a few more things that we should have gotten the first time. #neverfails
~I was so desperate for these little lego mini figure stand things that, once I found them on sale somewhere, I ordered 100.
~I still can’t remember my debit card pin number. Never fear, I know the Target debit card pin, so I guess I will only be able to shop there. #toobad #sosad
~I almost cried when the Teresa Giudice’s daughters got a puppy for Christmas on this weeks episode.
~The Tooth Fairy almost forgot to make a visit the other night. Ooops! Good thing she remembered at the last minute!
~I still haven’t gotten my mailbox fixed. Whatever. It’s fine.
~L suggested that Disney World and Las Vegas move next to each other with “a bridge connecting them” and I thought it was the best idea I have ever heard.
~I am counting down the days until the college football season starts.
~I find sorting legos oddly comforting. It’s very calming.
That’s it from here. What are you saying so what to this week?
My Mother in Law gave us all of my husbands old legos. I mean, two HUGE containers (thousands of pieces!) My daughter thankfully loves them, but I NEED to organize them. I’d love to see how you organize yours! By color?
I posted about it a while back:
http://www.ramblingsofasuburbanmom.com/2012/06/lego-organization/
But basically I have them organized by color. It worked really well when we had lots of big pieces, but now that L is into all the sets and tiny pieces I need to revamp. There are some drawer organizers I am going to get to better sort those pieces. And we got some little jars from IKEA too..
its my birthday & I drank too much wine last night & I have to go to the Dr.s for me and my girlie
That does not sound like fun at all!
I love legos. I saw the pic of your son w/ his shelf of lego-dudes and have to admit that I’m a little jealous that i don’t have all those! My niece and nephew live too far, and I don’t have kids – so I don’t have a reason to just go buy legos for the fun of it. haha
Nothing wrong with that! And no one would be messing them up. Ha! I so badly want to make them all like they came with the correct accessories and all that, but I know I would get in trouble from L!
I haven’t known my debit card number for years! I get a new one, and I instantly forget it. It’s bad.
Ugh. I may need to get a new one….
I think your Target card has a Mastercard logo, so you can use it anywhere 😉 At least mine does!
I too like to sort things. I don’t have kids so it’s not lego’s, but I make jewelry, and sometimes I think I prefer sorting beads to actually making things with them.
I don’t think it does? It’s an actual Target Debit Card hooked to my checking account. Not their credit card.
Ohh I didn’t know such a thing existed! I just have the CC.
Minifigure stands? I need to know what those are.
We’ve been talking about college football here too. Our tickets should be here soon.
They are the little black flat pieces that come in the mystery packs. I need more and lego doesn’t sell them so I had to find them elsewhere!
The tooth fairy DID forget to come to our house once. And wouldn’t you know it, it was when my son lost 2 teeth in 1 day. He was devastated to find that the teeth were still there and the money was not. Fortunately, it was in the winter and I had long sleeve pjs on. I told him that surely she hadn’t forgotten and that I would help him look. I was able to stuff a $5 bill in my sleeve and ‘find’ it inside his pillow case. The only reason I could come up with for her leaving the teeth was that it was so cool that he lost 2 at once that she thought he might want to take them to show and tell that day. He was not amused and wrote her a note telling her she needed to come take them and left them under his pillow the next night. She did not forget to come that night.
I am dying laughing. I bet that tooth fairy never made that mistake again! I love that he left her a nasty note. BAHAHA.
L is a complete genius! Those are my very favorite places too!
Isn’t he? I was like kid, you care on to something!
