~My (big) boys are all coming home today and WB and I are so excited! We had thought about doing our garage sale beginning tomorrow, but it’s just not happening. Instead I think L and B are going to camp out in the backyard and I am hoping that the weather is nice so that we can sneak in a little trip to the beach. And that B and I can sneak in a trip to the casino ;).
~I haven’t been getting too many subscription boxes in the mail this week, but my mailbox greeted me with the 2015 IKEA catalog and a Bath & Body Works coupon book. As if my obsession with IKEA wasn’t already at an all time high, the catalog shows up. Yes, I am sure I seen all of these things at the store. But somehow the catalog makes them all the more appealing. The store is just overwhelming (and usually crowded). But the catalog lets you browse and go back and check Pinterest to see what you can do with everything.
~My spray painted BEKVÄM spice racks got hung in my office by my brother yesterday and I love them! I learned, however, that I should have sanded them before painting them. It honestly would have taken me an extra 10 minutes and saved me a ton of hassle. I will for sure be sanding these before I do the ones for the kids bedrooms!
~I should be getting a few subscription boxes to end the week including Julep, Jennifer Love Hewitt Fancy Box, maybe Wantable, the Homegrown Collective and umm, that might just be it. Such a slow week. I totally should have planned my Disney trip for this week instead of mid-month!
~A friend of mine posted a link to this “11 Morning Rituals That Can Change Your Life” article and I am finding it quite fascinating. I currently do none of these things, but they all seem fairly easy (except maybe the mini trampoline one because that would require buying a mini trampoline) and am thinking about incorporating them into my mornings! I suspect even just a few would make me feel better in the morning.
~PopSugar is having their first ever Flash Sale today and is offering 50% off the Michael Stars hat was that included in the July 2014 Must Have Box, making it only $24! If you have been eyeing this hat and didn’t get the box, now is the time. I am really hoping we see more deals like this from PopSugar down the road! What I would really LOVE to see is a flash sale of some of their older boxes. Like a warehouse sale of sorts. A girl can dream…..
~I am not 100% sure where L is going to school next year (I applied to switch him to a school closer to us), but I know I need to get school supply shopping done before everything sells out! Honestly people get prepared so early that Target (and everywhere else) gets cleaned out fast. But this year I’m on it!
