I think yesterday marked the beginning of the “busy” time of the month for subscription boxes. The first and last week of the month are generally fairly slow, but the middle two weeks are always wild! One of the packages I received yesterday was my August 2014 Fabletics outfit! Actually outfits. I couldn’t decide which one I wanted, so I went for two of them this month.

In case you haven’t heard of them, Fabletics is the brainchild of actress and co-founder Kate Hudson, who partnered with the team behind JustFab to develop a multi-functional wardrobe solution for today’s active woman. Each month you’ll receive a new workout outfit (pieces you may select from include tops, tanks, tees, sports bras, hoodies, jackets, leggings, pants and shorts) starting at $49.95/month.   And the best part is that if you aren’t interested in any of the items that month, don’t need anything, etc. you are free to skip the month (just do so by the 5th of the month) and won’t be charged.

The Package

Fabletics ships via FedEx Smart Post. I ordered on the 1st, it shipped on the 4th and I received it on the 7th. Not to bad.

I forgot to take a first look picture this month, but everything comes wrapped in individual plastic bags. I also got a Starbucks Via Refresher pouch which I thought was a fun sample! The package includes a packing slip – not an information card which lists the items you ordered. I opted for “Earth” this month which included the following pieces:

~Oula Tank (Black) ($19.95): I have a bunch of these tanks and I love them. They are long, comfortable and stretchy. You can never have enough of these.

~Salar Legging (Pink Lava Print) ($47.95): Honestly how could I NOT get these pants? They are amazing. And remind me a bit of the outer space cat ones Target used to carry. LOL. And I realized that these also come in a capri which I am pretty sure I “need” as well. The crazier the better!

My Fabletics outfit had a value of $67.90 (that’s using Fabletics member pricing – it would have been $84.90 just to buy if you weren’t a subscriber), but I got it for $59.95!  And I love it!  I really loved the “Land” outfit this month too, so I also picked that one up.  That ombre shirt and these pants (I ordered mine with plain black capris because the patterns weren’t an option in this outfit)?  Umm yes please!

I am sooooo jealous of everyone’s fabletics posts. They are so cute and I absolutely love their clothes. I’ve skipped the past 2 months. Those lava pants are to tie. How do you like the fit compared to the lima or salar?

I work in a professional office and my only chance to wear clothes like these are on weekends or at night. Hubs isn’t really supportive of me growing my weekend clothes stash.

      They are the Salar leggings!
