Orange Glad
Cost: $21.95/month ($15 + $6.95 S/H)
Ships To: United States (not including U.S. Territories and Military APO/FPO/DPO addresses).
The Sweet Box by Orange Glad, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a carefully curated box of sweet snacks which is delivered to your door every month. It includes 5 deluxe gourmet desserts and the Orange Glad Marketplace allows you to place orders for more of the goodies you love!
Orange Glad ships via USPS Priority Mail and took just a few days to arrive. I think they shipped earlier than normal this month. Usually mine doesn’t arrive until closer to mid-month.
The actual Orange Glad box is packaged inside the larger shipping box. I am assuming that it’s for shipping protection?
I love Orange Glad’s packaging. They always use the cutest bags with the cutest prints. I love it.
The August 2014 Orange Glad box included the following items:
~Bev’s Biscochitos Signature Biscochitos: These are delicious. They have just the right around of cinnamon without being too much. They are light and crispy and just delicious. With a Starbucks they’d be incredible.
~Liz Lovely Chocolate Moose Dragon Cookie: I wasn’t expecting these to be as yummy as they are. Maybe it was because it was in a package? It actually tastes like a brownie in a cookie form. I can’t even imagine what these taste like warm.
~Petrone’s Pizzelles Lemon Pizzelles: WB was my taste tester on this one and he was a big fan! I think he liked the side I put nutella on for him better, but he’s 2 so that’s probably expected.
~El Camino Real Bakery Dulce De Leche Delights: I die. These are amazing. The filling is incredible. I want B to try them to see how good they are, but he better get home soon or there won’t be any left!
~El Camino Real Bakery Organic Coconut Macaroon Bars: I am not a huge coconut fan so this one is all B. The information card suggests with as a “morning tea snack” and I suspect B will be having it as a breakfast snack.
As usual, I didn’t do a cost breakdown for this box but I was very happy with it. I am getting super excited though for this in the colder months when they can start sending chocolate again!
