August 2014 Pennie Post Review
August 2014 Pennie Post Review

Pennie Post, who kindly sent me this package to review, is a monthly stationary subscription service. Each month you will receive at least 3 stationary items.  More commonly used greeting cards such as thank you notes and birthday cards will be included more often than other greetings. Seasonal cards such as Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and holiday may also be included during appropriate months.

The Envelope

Pennie Post ships via USPS and took less than a week to arrive to me.  It probably shouldn’t have taken me this long to realize it, but the envelope the cards ship in seems to match the colors of that month’s cards.  At least it has in the packages I have received.

First Look

It’s hard to take a first look of something that comes in an envelope, but I did the best I could.  With the exception of the information card, everything that is included is packaged in a plastic sleeve to help it arrive in perfect condition.

The Information Card

The August 2014 Pennie Post collection is “Seeing Stripes” and includes the following items:

~Deconstructing Floral Lines Card with Matching Floral Envelope:  I have never seen anything quite like this. It’s very unique and super cool!

~Rainbow Herringbone Thank You Note With Wrap Around Address Label:  This is easily my favorite one of the bunch!  I’d describe it as a chevron, which of course I love.  L describes chevron as “stripes that look like they are going up a mountain”.  That is a pretty good description I think.

~Rainbow Herringbone Enclosure:  Another chevron pattern, but this time in a small little card.  I always use cards like this with gifts, so this is perfect.

~Overlapping Stripes Birthday Card:  Ohh, I love this one too!  The colors are soft and it’s just a very pretty Happy Birthday card that could work for just about anyone who loves pink!

Since these cards are designed specifically for Pennie Post, I didn’t do a cost breakdown on them.  The subscription itself is $11/month, which works out to about $2.75/item.  As usual, these cards are very high quality and are printed on very nice card stock paper.

What do you think of Pennie by Post?  If you are interested in subscribing or just want to learn more, click here!  And if you want to win a subscription you are in luck because Pennie Post asked if me I wanted to give one away!  Of course I do!  As usual you just need to enter in the Rafflecopter widget below and you will be set!
