~Happy Monday! We had a fun weekend here and I am hoping some of the productivity that happened over the weekend will carry through into this week. The basement hasn’t looked so clean in ages. I love it! I just want to sit down there and look at it being all clean.
~Is anyone else as excited as I am about Bachelor in Paradise tonight? OMG I cannot wait. I need this train wreck on my tv asap.
~My #nsale order turned out to be super lame. After that Tieks gift card basically forced me into getting another pair of Tieks I just couldn’t justify the Tory Burch boots and / sunglasses. So I got the kids shoes (Nordstrom has the best kids shoes sales), pj pants and a “J” mug for me. Boring!
~Don’t forget that the August Golden Tote sale launches today at 9am PST / 12pm ET! I will try and remember to do another reminder at noon, but just in case I forget, set your alarms. I feel like like a lot of things might sell out this month because everything is just so cute!
~This week should be a little more exciting subscription box wise. I am expecting Julep, Fabletics, Fancy Summer Mystery Box, Honest Co. (although I don’t typically do reviews on that) and Wantable Intimates just to name a few. And, while it hasn’t shipped just yet, I expect that we will be getting August PopSugar spoilers this week! Eek!
~I am working on going to bed earlier (this is such a struggle), getting up earlier and drinking more water (I have SO been slacking and have been drinking lots of Diet Pepsi again). I need to think of a way to kind of remind myself about these little mini missions. I’m thinking of maybe setting a “bedtime” of 12am (that’s early to me) and then setting my alarm for 7am? Thoughts? This staying up till 3am is just to a good idea.
~Has anyone ever been to a taping of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon? Or do you know how far in advance you can sign up to get tickets? I so want to go to a taping next summer but I need to know how far in advance I should be stalking for tickets. Is it just a month or two? How fast do they get taken?
~And this is so super random, but does anyone have any amazing tie-dye tee-shirt secrets? I want to make some this week with the boys (L loves tie-dye stuff), but I want to know if there is something special I can do to make the colors extra bright?
