~We have a pretty busy week lined up. B starts school tomorrow and L starts next week which means we’ve got Meet the Teacher this week and have to get back into going to bed at a normal time. B also has a follow-up surgery for his eyes (he had Lasik this winter and the doctor wants to give them a fine tuning) and, of course, since it’s Labor Day Weekend we will likely be headed up-north.
~Let’s see, this week I am expecting Birchbox Man, Nicky Hilton Fancy Box, my ipsy Mystery Bag, Mantry, Hammock Pack, Escape Monthly, Lip Factory, Hazel Lane, and hopefully GLOSSYBOX and Socialbliss, although I haven’t gotten tracking on those yet. And don’t forget that the PopSugar Must Have Fall Style box is shipping this week too! I can’t wait to see what’s in that one!
~Chicago did a little number on my 10 Day Cleanse (which I think will actually be the full Challenge), but it was worth it. The only problem was yesterday and even then it wasn’t too out of control. I ordered the SkinnyLicious Soft Tacos at Cheesecake Factory which actually were delicious, skipped the bread and didn’t eat all my cheesecake. Things could have been much worse. I looked up my “usual” order there on MyFitnessPal and, umm, the Tomato Basil Pasta with Chicken has an obscene amount of calories. Even if you turn that into two meals that’s a lot!
~Has anyone started thinking about Halloween yet? L says he wants to be the same thing he was last year (a vampire), but I am going to see if he wants to be something else as well for school (like a superhero or something). But I have no idea about WB. I thought he’d want to pick, but he just looks at me like I am crazy. If you have kids, what are they being?
~Did anyone watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians last night? I started out watching the VMA’s but got bored (and missed Blue Ivy) and turned on the Kardashians (so many choices on cable). And what do you know, they were on vacation again. I wonder if I could be one of their assistants for the next trip? I would guess they don’t travel without their assistants and I think I would be perfect for that!
