August 2014 Little Lace Box

Little Lace Box, who kindly sent me this box to review, is a subscription service that delivers hand-curated, nearly impossible-to-find designer products directly to your doorstep every month. Boxes will be brimming with high-end, brand name beauty, lifestyle, and home product samples to treat yourself to and dazzle your friends during your next night out.

The Box

Little Lace Box ships via USPS Priority Mail, which I love.  I think my box took longer than Priority Mail normally takes to arrive, however, I know my mailman isn’t always right on top of delivering things, so no big deal.

First Look
Second First Look

I didn’t recognize anything from the first look which I always consider to be a good sign.  I love discovering new products and not recognizing anything in a box is a good way to do that.

The Information Card

The August 2014 Little Lace Box included the following items:

~Graymarket Design Scarf ($45): Graymarket scarves are printed with non-toxic, AZO-free dyes on the softest, gauziest cotton out there. I totally love this scarf and think it’s just gorgeous.

~Enummi Skin Care (Samples): These products are to be used daily to obtain a glowing complexion.  I don’t think there is enough in the packets to make a real difference in my skin, but they will come in handy for overnight trips.

~The Sexiest Scent on the Planet. Ever. (~$2): I have never heard of this before, but it really does smell incredible!

~SoapBox Soaps Black Soap ($4.99): This black soap is made from activated charcoal and a blend of all natural essentials oils.  I am a huge fan of charcoal soaps, so I may have to take this one for myself (B usually takes all the bar soaps we that come in boxes).

~By Rosie Jane Leila Lou Roll on Fragrance Oil ($24.96): Well this scent is incredible too! It’s described as having notes of “Pear Blossom, fresh cut grass and tangerine”.  Together those would mix up to something weird in my head, but trust me, it works!

~(Extra Surprise!) Red Leaf Bubble Bath Dough ($4.50): I am going to let WB and L test this out for me.  The bubbles this creates in the bath tub are suppose to last for your entire bath, which would be awesome.  I hate when the bubbles go away and you have to add more water in the tub and put more bubbles in.  It gets rave reviews on etsy so I expect only good things from it!

All totaled I came up with a value of $81.45 (that doesn’t include the reviewer bonus item)  for the August 2014 Little Lace Box.  I was quite impressed with this box and thought the curation was just fabulous!  Boxes are $39.99/month, so it contained items worth over double the cost, which is awesome we well.
