Memebox,who kindly sent me this box to review, is a Korean beauty box packed with combination of full size products and deluxe samples. Boxes contain anywhere between 4 and 8 products and while it’s not a true subscription service, they offer many different curated box options and always always have new boxes available for purchase.
This box is the Memebox Superbox #49 All About Lips. It’s packed with both beautifully baffling trendy colors and drop-dead gorgeous office appropriate hues and is described as the box that you’ll be reaching for every day and every night!
Memebox ships from Korea and generally takes about a week or so to arrive.
Memebox is always packaged in the same pink Memebox box. They are sturdy and have a magnetic closure.
I didn’t know which Memebox I’d be receiving, but I could tell as soon as I opened this that it had something to do with lips.
The Memebox Superbox #49 All About Lips included the following items:
~RiRe Tick Tock Lip Gloss (Red Beso) ($18): I don’t know what I like better about this, the actual gloss itself or the cool applicator. You push a button on the lid, hear a “tick-tock” and the brush pops out coated with lip gloss. So neat.
~Cheek Room Color Lips (Red) ($10): This is quite a bold color! I am not a lipstick person, but my SIL is and will love this.
~Royal Nature Paint Mousse Lip Lacquer (True Blood) ($24): This is another fantastic color. I feel like I totally lucked out with my variations. In addition to using this as a lip product, you can also use it as a cheek stain which is what I am going to do.
~Shara Shara Petit Friend Tint Balm (Crown Orange) ($8): This is probably my favorite item in the box. It’s a lip balm and a lip tint. You can see it in the information card, but there is a crown design inside the lip balm tin. The crown is the tint and the rest is the balm. I feel awful messing up the design, but it has to be done.
~Cheek Room Lip Tint (Red) ($10): Another fabulous color! The other variation for this item was orange, but I am thrilled with the red. The tint is great and it’ll work as a cheek balm too.
~Very Six 6 Seconds Kissing Lip Gloss ($17): Well this is cool. It goes on clear and then in six seconds (or so), it will change to a colorful glow on your lips! Sort of like a mood lip gloss. Sort of. Very cool.
All totaled I came up with a value of $87 for the Memebox Superbox #49 All About Lips box. I thought this was a fantastic box for the $23 price tag and love love love the variations I received. I wouldn’t have minded a lip treatment or scrub or something instead of just all lip colors, but I am happy!
